I don't mean chat rooms. I mean open air. Suppose you are sitting in a chair, you can listen to what other people are talking in the table beside you. Just like real life.

The table beside you will be louder, the table at some distance will be lower.

There are locations in-game that we are considering allowing proximity chat. Examples of these are taverns, marketplace stall districts, and potentially some limited rooms inside dungeons/POI locations.

We're still discussing this internally, and how we approach this may change based on feedback we get during testing phases.

I want to avoid being this nosy but seems like its the only way. I don't know what the developers were thinking before thinking this made sense. I can device plenty countermeasures if there was any way of knowing how many alts a player has. But I don't think that's the case.

One guild per account should be the norm. They have one Freehold per account but not guild ? Makes no sense to me.

With a guild size cap, forcing all characters on a single account to be in the same guild might not a great experience for everyone involved. We anticipate that some larger guilds might actually split into several guilds in-game, and it's possible that a player may want different characters from their account to be in different guilds across a "guild alliance."
