Seems like a good amount. Do we know how much a battle pass will cost in real money?
not yet! We'll go in detail as the time is closer

Seems like a solid monetization system, but I hope they don't add to many currencies lol
3 in total in the whole game :)
Hello my Reddit Tamers! In case you're new here, we're spoiling stuff from 1.0 all week this week. Today we tackle the very heated topic of microtransactions with as much transparency as we can.
But first, as it's now tradition, a disclaimer:
As ...

it's a cosmetic battle pass and it's completely optional, so it won't affect your enjoyment of the game. It's been mentioned for ages. Even if the game has an initial payment, there are a lot of costs in making an online game. Server has to be paid for, kept and maintained for years, and cosmetic mtx help cover that.
I REALLY REALLY like how much you guys at Crema listen to the community. Just stopped by to give thanks.
<3
Will the TMRs be reset every new season? (I honestly wouldn't mind if they were)
I think it would be cool if you could see the number of wins of other people or members of the club, I could see it before but they took it away, I loved to be comparing the number of wins.
The TMR reset is mentioned in the post. It's not exactly a seasonal reset, but similar
What’s the point of playing the game, capturing tems and breeding if you can just make perfect tems out of thin air for competitive with temtem showdown?
On the good side, you just disincentivized people from buying from the “premium” cash shop and tamer pass.
The Premium cash shop and Tamer Pass only contain cosmetics. They would've never included anything that made training tems easier anyways.
Is this real?
I'm literally the Community Manager of Crema HAHA it's all real!
Hello my beloved Tamers of Reddit! As we already mentioned yesterday, this is day two of us literally spoiling the full launch version of Temtem during an entire working week! Today we approach the Competitive and PvP scene of the game. But first, another disclaimer:
Day 1 post, as well as most of what we will be sharing in the upcoming days, is planned to launch right with 1.0, on September 6th. However, the competitive chan...

If theres one thing I really want, its easier/more exciting ways to TV train. Currently, tv training is a required bar stopping new players fresh off endgame from getting into pvp. Getting a single team of tems with the right traits, correctly trained tvs, etc, takes forever. Tons of level grinding and TV training. Its why most players dont get into the pvp.
I hope either there is either a new way to progress these things, or that you change the requirements for pvp. Im fine with tournaments needing tems to be fully trained and maxed out, I just dont think that should be required for players just to get into the pvp.
:eyes emoji:
We will most likely learn later this week, probably Thursday based on Tsukkis other message
yes, correct!
Will soulbinding change the price of name changes of traded tems back down to 2000?
nope, OT remains the one it was!
Also will the soul binder make the new trainer of the luma have the “OT” label?
no, it will not! the OT remains as is, but you'll be able to hotfix them
Luma changes are looking great! Hoping these may be enough to better reward dedicated hunters and attract more people into using radars.
Talking about radars, any spoiler on how we'll be acquiring them after the rematch loot changes? :)
all spoiler I can give is that you'll learn about it on Thursday :)
Hello, Tamers, and welcome to the celebrations of what we've come to call the Golden Week! As 1.0 approaches we've decided to progressively but decisively unveil the mystery of 1.0 early on, for those on the fence about the immediate future, and for old and new players alike.
Every working day of this week we will share a post covering one of the sectors of the game that are getting improved in 1.0, or part of the new content coming with it. We recommend reaaally reading them all!
But first, a disclaimer:
We are not usually huge fans of talking about what’s coming up in future patches, and there are some good reasons for that:
Sorry, I just meant because the S doesn’t have a disc drive and can’t play physical games. So anyone who sees this and doesn’t realize their S can’t play a physical game and buys it might get a tad upset
I'm guessing anyone who owns a Series S will know it can't play physical games (clearly I don't own one haha) and might decide to purchase the physical just to have them on their room. I'll keep this info in mind, though, thanks for bringing it up!
Can there really be a physical copy for the Xbox Series S?
yeah! It's the same as the X one. This is a Spanish store, but just to give you an idea :)
If I buy the switch version as well on release, can I access my save on either my pc or switch version?
As long as Switch doesn't oppose our cross-progression system and as long as you link the two then yes, that's correct. I recommend you check the two last FAQ posts, there's more info on this.
How do we purchase the deluxe edition?
You should be able to find the Deluxe edition for each platform and you just have to purchase that one :)
If you already have the Standard edition of the game and would like to upgrade without having to re-buy it, upgrading will be possible once version 1.0 hits!
