The team are aware, unfortunately this may not be be hotfixable so it might have to remain this way until next week. Really sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll keep the post updated with new information should we be able to resolve it sooner!

Edit: This has now been resolved in-game :)

Yes it's intentionally working this way. They act the same way Xeric's talismans do.

While the item is uncharged, the item has no variables set on it which tell it how many charges they have, so the items can be stackable.

Once charges are added to the ring, the item will have a variable set on it which tell you how many charges they have.

You can have rings with different charges, so these rings won't be stackable since they are not the same, much like how a Blowpipe stacks while it is empty, but once it's filled it isn't stackable.

I might be misreading it but to confirm do the buffed rates apply to virtus, chromium ingots, and orbs, whereas vestiges and axe pieces remain the same?

It's for Virtus, Chromium ingots, Vestige and Axe pieces

I've just been told that those fixes should be coming with next week's update, we just didn't have time to fit everything in. Apologies for that, but at least you'll be in a good spot for when it happens!

that being said I do think vardorvis drops were a bit too rare tbh

edit: I got a shit ton of replies from the whiners and I aint reading all that btw so save your time

I know it's going to seem like this was in response to the Reddit comment seen over the last 24-48 hours, but we always intended to adjust the drop rates once we had more data to help inform us of what players were able to achieve in-game.

Initially we were going to hold off until next week, but we thought it'd be better to get them out now for those who are actively grinding the bosses for drops.

Wait when you say tradeable drop rates, that means vardorvis is still 1/540 for a vestige roll? Because the ring itself is tradeable I just want to get clarification on the vestige not being made more common.

Edit: Just wanting to clarify if vestige/soulreaper are also included in the updated drop chances or if it's just virtus.

Answered: New drop rates are for Virtus, Ingots, Vestige and Axe.

Updated the blog to make it absolutely clear it refers to the core unique rates (Virtus, Ingots, Vestige & Axe pieces)

a) 3 rolls of the vestige slot on the table
b) 2 drops of any item on the table then a roll on the vestige slot

Would be great if you could clear this up?

It's 3 rolls on the Vestige slot of the unique table.

As Sween mentioned already, the blog will go out shortly with all the information in, I just wanted to try and quickly explain it so the stream focus could return to Sailing :)

There is no mystery mechanic guys, it's just a slightly different way to how items normally drop but all you have to do is kill the bosses and have fun in the process, that's it.

We'll reveal all (including drop rates) in two weeks.

Yes you can still use RuneLite with a Jagex Account - the client is supported within the launcher and allows 1-click login etc with the RuneLite client :)

Hi all, I hope you're as hyped for today's launch as we all are!

I just want to emphasise a part of the blog that may get overlooked, as its quite a big change from how we've operated before.

As a heads-up from us, we want as many people as possible to be able to experience Desert Treasure II spoiler-free. Of course, you're welcome to seek out discussion from other players if you'd like, but we won't be posting or sharing anything that divulges information about the quest until next week.

We'll still be keeping an eye on all of your feedback and fixing any bugs or making small tweaks for QoL purposes during the first week as per usual. However, unless something is clearly miles away from our expectations (and our own experiences testing the bosses), we don't plan on making any balancing changes until at least the second week following the release.

The bosses are supposed to be challenging. We want to give you time to learn their mechanic...

Hi all, for mobile there was a new client deployed today which has created some issues. I've been advised you might find better stability if you completely uninstall the app and re-install it via your relevant app store.

Please note: doing this will unfortunately means any saved loot tracking information will be lost.

We'll be updating the Game Status page with more information as we're able to.

You should keep them - did you log out before the timer hit 0?

While you're there, tell me your secret... I'm still waiting on Barrows gloves to drop from a chest...

Good luck with the cleaning. A tidy room and clean sheets makes a whole world of difference!
