Alright, I fully expected to get obliterated after the first few replies came in following these tweets. Maybe not as much, but it's my own fault for how I worded the replies. I'll try offer some clarity to put peoples minds at rest, because this really wasn't meant to blow up past my initial reply to the tweet.

Clan bingo is fine. It is highly unlikely you'll ever face an issue in regards to RWT for receiving gold as part of a clan funded prize pool - all RWT bans are thoroughly checked and reviewed to prevent this, but mistakes can happen.

The first reply that's been quoted above is poorly worded and I apologise for that. It was intended to be a tongue in cheek way of saying stop playing with people who are breaking the rules and you won't have to worry. Now obviously you don't necessarily know who is breaking the rules, and we don't expect you to the be ones policing the game as you've rightly pointed out that's our job.

Please try this! You should be able to load the Launcher and log in just fine.

The servers are under an extreme amount of load right now. I know it's not ideal, but you will be able to get in! You might need to restart the launcher a few times.

Hi all,

I just want to offer some clarity here. We didn’t ask HDOS to remove the Halloween quest, and we've since followed up to confirm that with them too (as well as inform them that we'll be publicly responding to some of your questions).

We really are excited to be working closely with HDOS and getting them into the Launcher is a great first step. However, the addition of custom content was not something we’d discussed prior or agreed on formally.

For transparency, the Halloween update was added without our knowledge, and - whilst we genuinely do think it's really cool! - ultimately, we are responsible for all the content in the game and learning from how we’ve handled moderation of clients in the past, we want to ensure any approach we agree with client developers is one that's fair across the board. The addition of third-party content being added sets a precedent that we are not prepared for right now.

The issues that were occurring were not related to DMM in any way. The team have been investigating and it appears there are widespread service issues, and nothing relating to our servers in particular. It seems like its better now though, hopefully it stays that way!

I understand the frustration when there are issues, but it appears this was a widespread service issue and not related to our servers in particular. It seems like everything is stable again now though at least, so hopefully you can carry on getting some gains!
