UPDATE - 15:15 Game Time, We will be rebooting the login servers at 15:35 Game Time to help solve the issues players are currently facing. We would advise all players to stop any dangerous activity immediately.
Receiving reports of login issues for some players, currently being investigated.
We're happy to report the reboot is complete and the game worlds are coming back online!
As of 13:29 Game Time, players should be able to access game worlds again.

We made some changes to allow you to fill the Statue bag from the bank and it had some side effects, team is working on clearing it up.

Cheers, talking with the team this issue seems to crop up from the Midday Skybox being the culprit, they are gonna be looking into addressing it where possible but it's unlikely to be a quick resolution, in the meantime if you wanna clear it up yourself, turning off the Midday box should resolve it.

u/JagexJack it's been 6 months since the implementation of the GE tax. We haven't heard anything about it's economic impacts. Did it work as intended, will be be increased?
And also FSW data?
The GE Tax was introduced to offset the Death Cost changes and has been doing its job from what I understand.
Can we expect the woodcutter's grove update still in June or is it delayed same as the max cash update?
Woodcutters is still on track. Only Max Cash got shifted.
Anyone else feel like this is an automated ai given response? I know it's not, but it feels that way.
Man that cuts deep, but yeah fair. Sometimes I am gonna come off as robotic when responding as its usually easier to convey what I wanna say in a "clinical" kinda way.
Damage reduction now only works against core damage types - Melee, Ranged and Magic and will no longer work against typeless damage, poisons, reflections or any other bespoke damage type.

I understand that you are upset that this change went in when you did not agree with it, we outlined the changes and the intents in the original post and some of the biggest feedback on that post was that people wouldn't be able to give clear and concise feedback without getting their hands on the changes and that is why we pushed for a beta so that people could try out the changes first hand.
The Poll was another data point for the whole project and not the sole deciding factor in how things would progress.
We want to communicate with our players about changes and to get them in on the process, so we will continue to work to add more Polls/Blogs/Beta etc where possible, just because it didn't go the way you personally had hoped is not a good reason to not continue to try to communicate decisions and intentions with players.
We're still processing the Necromancy First Look this week, so it's a quick one today - but we've got some FSoA and Animate Dead updates and a few other patches too!
