Either way, it doesn't feel genuine to automatically unlock the T99 Prayer straight away by purchasing it.

The list has been updated to include it, there was some confusion around the topic and we got it a bit more clarified.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. (Recently listened to you on the 'LetsDiscussRS' podcast btw and enjoyed it.)

I didn't mean to imply the existence of a legal contract or requirement for a video from the creators, but as I figured and as you confirmed, it's what was expected. No biggie that he didn't deliver. I hope all is well in his personal life!

As I've said in other comments, I'm really not upset or anything, and I don't feel "entitled" as someone suggested. I suppose I just felt the slightest bit of indignation on behalf of the amazing jmods who extended such an awesome opportunity to a select few content creators. Glad to see at least that 7 out of the 8 followed through with awesome and on-time videos thoroughly documenting their playtest experience and thoughts on Necromancy!

Good PR btw. I wouldn't expect anything other than a magnanimous reply about this situation. ;) Although I don't follow Omid's content, I did waste a bit of time searching fo...

"Oh well. Guess he earned himself an uninvitation for any future opportunities of this sort."

Not remotely the case tbh, Omid was a fantastic person to have along on the trip as their insights and feedback were massively helpful and their unique point of view was wonderful when it comes to how gameplay mechanics function at the higher levels (honestly listening to Omid and Maikeru playing around with combos was great), it's a shame the video is delayed but delays happen.

But I will defend my remarks by pointing out that Jagex specifically hyped the fact that the chosen content creators would be uploading their playtest videos within minutes of the big reveal, and Omid was one of the people they listed in the news post. Because of this, I went out of my way to find him on YouTube and give him a subscription.

So again, I’m really not upset or anything, but I know if I were given such an opportunity, I’d surely uphold my end of the agreement. Otherwise you come off as disinterested at best, or worse, disrespectful to the money Jagex spent and the time and attention the Jmods gave you.

That’s all. No hate. I likely won’t watch Omid’s video now because the hype has dissipated and we’ve since ...

Heyo!

So to give some clarity on the situation, we did not require a video from the creators as the intent was to get folks onsite and to get feedback, we obviously hoped that they would all create content on the topic and that was the plan for everyone going in, unfortunately, I believe Omid had run into some time restraints with his personal life and was not able to get the video out when he had hoped.

That's completely okay and we are sure his video will be a fantastic insight into his opinions and feedback on necromancy and I would still highly recommend giving it a watch when it does come out.

Daemonheim has been playing fast and loose with the Rings recently, folks are looking into it.

Timer wasn't reduced it ran from the 19th till the 29th. The dxp page on the website had said 2nd due to an error which was updated to resolve, it was broadcasted as running from the 19th-29th in the newspost.

Speaking with the team you still get KC if the buff procs it's things like enrage/hiscore/kill times that aren't counted.

So this means you should be able to do group content and not have to worry unless you are specifically going for things like Zamorak enrage pushing with a team and in that case you can turn them off to continue your enrage grind

Heyo!

This was something that folks went back and forth on and with the option to turn the buffs off it was felt that leaving it up to player decision was the path of least resistance, now note I said least not no resistance, there is going to be plenty of opinions and discussions about the exact best way to implement this event for each type of player but in this version it is now in the hands of the players to decide how they personally engage with this.

If you only care for the cosmetic you can turn the buff off at the Wise Old Man straight away and go about your day no further thoughts required.

Just an aside as I see folks talking about the logout extension, this would not be connected to completing the event in anyway (as it is not implemented yet and would be coming in August, fingers crossed) it would be a feature of Jagex accounts when it is implemented.

Heyo Folks just wanna chime in here, we are aware the JagexClock and JagexAuto accounts have ceased functioning currently, we need to update our systems to work with some recent Twitter changes and so the team is currently looking into this.

Unfortunately, I do not have any ETA on when these functions will return and if any of the systems will need to be altered or dropped to fit in this new system.

Apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

Is this actually true? I haven't been following the development super closely, but I thought the idea was that this change would only apply to money pouch and GE trades, and normal item stacks in inventory/bank would retain the existing 2147m limit. Did they find some way to raise it for everything instead?

Heyo! We have updated the text to remove the confusion at the moment. We will be talking about the Max Cash Update when it is due to launch to help clarify what will change.

Mark your calendars, the Necromancy reveal is coming - plus some very special insider insights from you, the players!

This is the illusion of choice if I ever saw anything like it in runescape. How hard can it be to make an NPC give you FSOA in the beta worlds?

You want constructive feedback, but it is going to be literally impossible for a large number of your players to give it.

Heyo!

This beta has come about from the initial feedback we had gotten from our players that it would be hard to compare how it currently feels versus these changes and that is the question we are trying to gather data on with this beta.

"How does this version of the FSOA feel in comparison to the previous"

We want to know how it compares to how it currently is and the best people to ask for that information are the people who are currently using it, while we could gather data from all players on how the changed FSOA would feel in this beta, without the previous experience using it that data would be not directly relevant to the question we are asking.

If we want to get a more broad understanding of how the general player base feels about an item we can run another beta in the future to answer that question or maybe introduce a vendor to this beta at a later point but right now we want to hear from the players with current experience of usi...
