Not really a fan of this new trophy, and I'm not sure who was saying dragon tier was too easy. I played at least 6 hours every single day and was near the middle of dragon tier. Top 100 will require over 16 hours per day easily if there's a reward for it, I'm not sure if that's a healthy thing to encourage.

It gets especially bad when you consider that most of the top ranks in the last league were account sharing

Having a fixed number of ranks for any trophy I think is a bad idea.

Thanks for sharing your opinion on this, naturally we're not going to throw in a new trophy if we see that there is no desire for it. We want to make this as exciting for everyone as possible.

Yeah I definitely see the concern, and thank you for raising it. I personally feel like trophies and the hiscores are the two only elements in the League giving players a purpose to compete against others. All other rewards can be obtainable by everyone at a flat rate by just playing.

Trophies to me are meant to rank you compared to the rest of the player-base, used as an indicator to see how well you've done in the Leauge (which I understand in OSRS is very much related to playtime). Many games to similar ranking systems to this on top of other reward-layers, because it's a very important element to some player-types. Now, in OSRS playtime is a bigger factor than in many other games, but I also believe many of our players are aware playtime will in almost all cases give you an advantage in OSRS (unless we time-cap a challenge).

Is this meant to be the other way around, or if you gather they will go to your bank, and if you want them in your inventory you'd have to fill your bank with fillers?

Correct, items will always go to your bank unless it's full.

So no one is getting their pets from twisted league because no one was able to ensure them? Also confirmed kandarin area unlock?

All pets in Twisted League were automatically insured for you, we will do the same this time around.

We'll talk more about the specifics of areas leading up to release.

As much as I'd like to, I also feel it'd be unfair to in hindsight add it since nobody knew it'd be an option going into Twisted League. In my opinion, it's important everyone knows what's at stake going into a League, so that they can plan and play around it.

Completely understandable. However, the main purpose for the trophies is to give players a chance to compete against each other and having flat milestones for achieving trophies would not quite reflect how well you're doing compared to someone else.

It was received well last year keeping it % based, but of course we'll keep monitoring feedback to make sure it lives up to the community's expectations! :)
