We developed these buffs specifically for this event (except for those that already existed in game from e.g. FSW).

Annoyingly, we had a great up-and-coming new writer who was passionate about gnomes, and I feel sure she was going to push for the gnome series to be continued (she was actually preparing a pitch and asking players how essential access to the city was)... And then players decided one of her quests (Extinction) was somehow the worst thing ever and literally bullied her out of Jagex. We lost our one chance of gnome continuation because of that. :/ She was an RS player and everything.

I think this response to the fix may also be overlooking a potential big QoL adjustment highlighted in the OP post.
Why can't we have the 'take all' for each type of item we are right clicking on?
Looting custom seems outdated and not something you can really adjust easily when in combat.

Something I just found (Tested with big bones, at dark beasts under slayer tower):
If Tome of Um is set to send bones to storage, but storage is full and can't fit them, bones are dropped on ground, and not crushed by Bonecrusher.If Tome of Um is turned off, bones are crushed by Bonecrusher.
If Tome of Um is turned on, and there's room in storage, bones are send there.
Ah yeah that is due to the tome taking priority over the crusher, dang. I'll see if I can find a way to make that better ^^
at the time, when fighting green to black dragons not the baby versions their bones were not being buried with the bonecrusher unless you had the tome of um 2 worn and toggled off

the Tomb of Um 2 doesn't state it sends Dragon bones to the focus storage only Baby dragon bones and doesn't send them to the focus storage when toggled and worn
The Tome of Um 2 should send bones, big bones, baby dragon bones and wyvern bones to the focus storage when toggled and worn.
Are you saying it's not sending baby dragon bones, or it's not sending dragon bones? If it's the latter, that's intended.
Or are you saying it is sending dragon bones, although it's not supposed to?
