Thats a solid no im afraid chief.

There's way too many pity drops as is already for untradeables (KQ, Vorkath, etc.). You start bringing in pity drops for tradeables and we're going to have even bigger problems with item sinks because we currently don't have many.
I personally don't like pity drops whatsoever. I certainly wouldn't advocate for more.
What if it was altered in such a way: Droprate of unique: 1/4000 Let's say I get 4,000/4000kills dry At this point a system comes into play that gives you 1 percent increased odds of that item dropping for every500-1k kills dry after this point. I think this would provide a mental relief knowing that there's a real, if even negligible difference made each kill. You eventually get the item, bonus gone. This would make no difference to the economy, but it would make grinds feel more fulfilling without taking away from the intended RNG unless you were to have ungodly bad luck, and at that point wouldn't you agree they've earned it?
But as you get more kills there is already a mental increase of it happening because the higher you go the rarer it is to get to that point without one.
Whether theyve "earned it" or not isnt really the point im making here, its the underlying mechanic of the very system MMOs are built on that doesnt need changing.
I dont think he said one time it's a bad thing. Simply that resting would be cool.
I agree with OP. Not everything has to be efficiency scape.
At the same time, not everything needs to be created when there isn't a particular issue to address in the first place. There's quite a few ways to teleport to alot of places that the only real areas that require time to get there are middle of isafdar, dag kings, and slepe (kind of).
Naturally this depends on your account at the time, But still, you train to gain benefit from something to resolve the problem you have.
Yeah dw, this suggestion is overpowerd and defenitly shouldnt be implemented like this or in our current gear tier. Sounds like an endgame t90 item for in the far far future.
Sounds like a never if you ask me. The whole great at one thing or jack of all trades hybrid design is a good one to me.
Or we can use super energy and stamina potions because they pretty much fill the need youre describing and already exist. Its not like theyre that expensive and sure its a little bit of a grind for an ironman, but thats kinda the point no?
Genuinely curious as to why poeple seem to think super energies and stam potions are a bad thing/need to be altered.
Why would you look to cheapen the point of an RNG based drop system? The whole point is that you go dry some places you go lucky in others it evens itself out. That's kinda the point.
To me "pity timers" (i call them for want of an actual name) would completely cheapen the whole experience and alot of what the game is about in my eyes. Not to mention make it so theres a more of everything thus making the items cheaper and not really worth going for outside of personal achievements and collection log stuff.
uh.. what? Or you can just change the rings to suit your situation, there isn't exactly an issue there that needs to be solved...
If there is, you gotta enlighten me on that one I'm afraid.
An all encompassing ring that's awesome at everything and completely destroyed the point would be way too much.
That and getting the points isn't exactly a chore. All you're spending is time, not even any effort, You can go do other things and only pay attention every few minutes (depending on method).
No, let me be sad and grey pls.
If youd like to direct message me your runescape name over reddit DM. I can look into this issue you are encountering.
My buddy is having the same issue atm on his Samsung m20. He gave me a screenshot and asked me to post here: https://i.imgur.com/H4azzza.png
The camera is over the prayer stuff and it smoothes the edges so stuff like the chat and battery gets cut off
Hmm this is interesting. The way the system now works is we use what the device tells us as the "safe space" to display the UI. So either the device isn't telling us at all or its not being handled correctly.
I'm investigating this at the moment to see what we can do.
Read moreYou have to swipe to show the navigation bar. 1st pic shows what it was like before the update. Basically there's empty space to the left and right, and the navigation bar fits in the right space nicely and doesn't overlap (couldn't find a screenshot that shows it)
2nd pic shows the updated version and the 3rd shows the updated version with the navigation bar swiped in and it overlaps the right inventory buttons. The curved screen also makes tapping the batt icon a little harder.
Also when you have another application like Youtube in pop-up view, the navigation will pop up automatically, just transparent and allows you to press Back.
It worked well pre-update since the navigation bar would always fit nicely without overlapping but, as shown in this image, now that transparent bar overlaps too. (The bar is there but not very visi...
Previously the indents we're to allow the use of notched devices, at the time whether the device had a notch wasn't determinable. However with this update, we;re able to dynamically determine whether a device has a notch or not and if it doesn't, adjust the UI accordingly to allow better use of the screen on notch-less phones.
The swipeable sidebar isnt such processed as a notch by the device, thus the UI isnt modified to handle it. I'm raising the issue further to see what we can do about such things.
They f**ked up the mobile update for the note 9, screen is stretched so now the navigation* bar at the bottom covers the inventory, interface, etc buttons
Thanks alot jamflex, quality update as usual /s
Would you be able to provide a screenshot to help show what youre experiencing?
Is the note 9 one of the devices where the menu isnt always shown and you can swipe it to be displayed?
Dude... have you even played lms in f2p recently. Legit 80% bots. Its a game of who can kill the most bots first.
I was merely pointing out the information. Mod Weath actually spoke to me this morning about the bot detection and banning at LMS in free to play., he said improvements had been made to it.
Ikr it alnost seems like he is trolling us but maybe he is just extremely disconnected.
Merely pointing out the information to the player. We had member and free to play worlds located in almost every region on launch and found people still flocked to the UK members world to play regardless of where they were. At some point, im not sure when, these were removed to funnel players into fewer worlds for more games.
The minigame is exactly the same in members and free to play and you can still earn points in competitive mode to spend in the store all worlds with LMS enabled are exactly the same for the minigame and gameplay inside it. So it makes no difference whether the world id f2p or not for the minigame.

Incorrect, I was asked which one i wanted for LMS during the development process.
My head hurts. That cant possibly matter right?
increasing the xp/hr ion skills certainly can matter yes.
Not sure if youre the player that tweeted me saying this exact same thing then deleted it before i could give a response. but if youre playing casual you will not score points.
whats an unforeseen regearing boost?
Something someone may think of that we didnt which inadvertedly allows them to gain more xp/hr.
