They're on the third row, the first 3 items (rod -> tinderbox -> hammer). :P

Yeah that does clear things but, it doesn't make sense
Why wouldn't they appear if I've gotten the ancient tools intead of ancient gizmos? And even discovering how to make ancient tools, I can't even see the ancient tools in the interface, let alone make it.
Tysm for the reply though!
You should be able to find the tools under the 'Skilling support' drop down option.
The discovering of materials is only required to make use of those components in a gizmo. This is why they are only available to discover after discovering the ancient gizmos and not the ancient tools.
The blueprints for the components will appear in the discovery list once you've discovered the ancient gizmos blueprint.
I hope this helps!
I fixed the issue this morning, however it won't be live until next week.
I responded to this issue in another thread:
We are looking to scale the drop rate of the imcando metals based on your Archaeology level to help with any bad luck you may have.
I'm looking to add an Archaeology section to the skill settings window. In this there will be an option to toggle the hitsplat off.
We could look to change the text of 'Destroy' to something more fitting.
I'll bring it up tomorrow to the rest of the Archaeology team.
The research should be available to you the moment that you hit the required level for the site.
I did submit a fix for this last week which will be live in the next update. However, I believe that it should automatically fix itself if you were to check again.
We're looking to lower the base damage slightly as right now it's over performing.
The ripper demon will still be a beast of a familiar, don't worry! Also, we have no intention of changing the ripper demon's effect.
I see comments regarding the special attack, summoning potions etc.
To clarify, we will run various tests and investigate the damage output thoroughly before making any changes.

Your ships should hopefully return from their odd venture into the unknown with the update on Monday. If however they do not, please let me know!
We are planning to allow for both the amulet and ring to be added to the tool belt.
This fix will not be done for Monday, however we may be able to get it into the following update.
This information is incorrect.
The cost of general research is calculated based on your Archaeology level.
Wow that’s pretty cool. I always thought a skill concept usually would take a couple years from start to finish..awesome :)
There were different skill ideas around at this point, and we had various ideas for them but we had yet to decide on what skill 28 would be.
Haha, I remember this! Based on the date that I commented, I don't think we had started work on the 'New Skill' yet.
Mod Rowley is working on making it so that it sends materials to the material storage, and also looking to add apropriate messaging when the effect triggers.
Just curious, are you at all worried that interest might drop in archaeology eventually to the point that pylon activation is rare? This would make it really difficult to get staff pieces on Ironman! (Obviously it needs to be somewhat difficult). So far the pylons are super exciting! It’s great to see everyone flood the dig site. Thank you to you guys for all you do!!!
We're closely monitoring everything within the skill and will make adjustments where needed, so don't worry!
thx, been a while since i did much skillin.
No worries! Happy to help.
There is no messaging for honed as it's a passive effect that boosts your success chance in the background.
