Congratulations!
Congratulations!
There's no way I can reveal which one is the impostor of the other, the world of Gielinor might just end!
Thanks for letting us know, we have this noted to look into.
Yep - I actually did it. 😅
Bonus context:
As you can imagine, RuneScape contains an absolute TON of models from the 20 years of its existence. The number of unique inventory models in our game is probably one of the standouts in MMOs, as in others you'll commonly see the same model used with the additional context in the tooltip (e.g. 1 long sword model with a different colour rarity and then the tooltip includes the identifier information such as name).
Fun fact, assets are commonly re-used throughout games for various reasons (that I won't go into right now, but happy to in the future!) and we've been re-using inventory models for many years. I imagine it's more apparent recently as we're using recently new models (e.g. Leng artefact and Igneous stone both being models that were made for Archaeology), whereas in the past we might have been using models that hadn't been used for a good couple of years.
If you look back through the years you'll find some gems for sure!
Yep - I actually did it. 😅
The dragon kiteshield drop rate is honestly one of my favourite conspiracies in RS. There's no way it's 1/128 or not bugged for some people.
I saw your comment and decided to check the code as it piqued my curiosity.
So it turns out the rates listed on the Wiki (that reference a thread on the RuneScape forums) are actually incorrect.
The drop rates are X/250 and not X/128. This means that the drop rate for the Dragon Kiteshield is actually 1/250.
I'll look to get the forum thread updated and make the Wiki aware of it.
Currently, the merchant is showing you the stock from over 7,000 days ago (oops).
We're looking to deploy a fix shortly that will have the merchant correctly show you today's stock.
In the meantime, you can talk to the merchant (second option) and ask them to show you today's stock.
I've submitted a fix for the issue where clicking 'Go To' on an achievement would take you to an unrelated/unexpected achievement.
It's currently with QA to be tested so I'll chase it up.
So no anomally with me being over 700kc with only divert and 8 lacerations out of 11 boot drops?
It took me 1,015 kills to get my first Ricochet codex and someone I knew had 4 by 400 kills!
Some of us have great luck and some of us don't, it's just the nature of probability.
Lets try /u/jagexryan since we haven’t had any response
What you're seeing here is a log full of unfortunate drop rolls.
Keep at it, and I'm sure you'll get your hands on those missing codicies!
I hope /u/jagexryan can help us here.
It's already on my list of things to look into with the Raksha boss encounter.
Similar to another raised issue with the camera angle/zoom changing on entry. I'm thinking of making it so that these things happen on your first kill only to maintain the immersion and guidance. Whereas on subsequent kills you're more knowledgeable so it's less useful and more of a disruption.
The message window shadow cores being same color as everything in there. Not 1 hit clearing the pools sometimes with bd scythe a stall that happens when ecb specing p4 on steps have died many times to a tail swipe even though I’ve clicked back many times - pet drop I still don’t have :(
The pools are balanced in such a way that there are various combinations of boosts that you can use that allow you to 1-hit them 99% (and even 100%) of the time.
The bladed dive scythe strategy is definitely an advanced mechanic that requires a more specific setup to perfect, but that is intentional by design.
Read moreRapid fire freezing your character because of the pillars on p4. Wish we could just run around and rapid fire with the fancy new boots.
Having your familiar just not attack rak on p4 unless you call it is SUPER f**kING ANNOYING.
The first attack you do entering p4 is just nulled and the damage doesn't go through.
The cranes around the room are like objects that vuln bombs can occasionally be clicked on depending on camera angle, this is frustrating when it happens.
The pipes on p4 are an actual object and block surges.
When transitioning phases, rak activates barricade for the duration of a full auto attack, which lasts full seconds.
The platform to pick drops up is cool and all, but hard to see/click seeds. I literally use loot all to pick these up.
The shadow pools take too long to spawn at the start of p3, I dps rak while waiting to kill them, and then when they finally start spawning there is barely enough time to get them...
I am looking into a number of these during my own time but I've yet to communicate details as I cannot confirm a release date on them.
Just know that I am aware of a few QoL changes that could be made!
I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but I'll chase this up.
I've completed the work required for this and it's currently with QA to test.
I've created a Raksha preset, however with the Christmas holiday period there was no one around to test it and push it to a release build.
Hopefully we can get it out in one of the upcoming releases.
This morning I submitted a fix for this. This won't be live until the new year though.
As another comment mentions, the collection still completes as expected (achievement will unlock), it's just a visual issue.
Wow! Big congratulations. :D
Congrats to Rudi! :D
