If you don’t mind, I’m going to move this thread from the Council forum to the Eternity’s End PTR forum. While it’s not inappropriate at all, on balance I think it’s much more productive in the PTR forum, since that’s where the designers and QA and engineers who are currently working on the next patch are looking for this kind of feedback in the first place.

I’m coming up on 11 years as a Community Manager here, and I’ve played WoW almost exclusively as a healer since the first time I stepped foot in Warsong Gulch in 2005 and found myself desperately wishing that someone would heal me. Fortunately I was playing a Paladin at the time and I learned that it was easy to switch my focus, which led directly to being pulled into my first raiding guild. With the launch of Burning Crusade, I started a new priest on Earthen Ring and that is still my main to this day.

I can honestly say that I enjoy every kind of WoW gameplay and over the years I’ve constantly invested in them all as a player: group/guild play, questing and world exploration, economy, and solo activities such as pet battles and collections. That diversity of interactions with the game entertains me greatly and, since I’m a communicator by trade, it has given me a ton of shared experiences to talk about with other players.

Please be reminded that all bosses in Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye will be adjusted to their final “nerfed” state with the weekly reset in each region next week.

Additionally, the requirement for attunements for those raids will be lifted at that time.

CREATE A PTR ACCOUNT:

• Log in to Blizzard Account Management.
• Select Games and Subscriptions.
• In the Starter Editions & Public Test Regions section, select Create PTR Account.
• Click the Create Account button.

New Content Testing

• The Black Temple and The Battle for Mount Hyjal Raids are available for testing on the PTR.
  • You can find Donjon Rade Jr. in Shattrath near Khadgar. Donjon will provide teleport services to the dungeons.
  • A plethora of vendors are available and selling gear, consumables, as well as other supplies and sundries to help you test.
• The Netherwing Reputation quests and dailies are available for testing on PTR.

User Interface

• You can now select multiple activities when searching for groups in the Looking for More UI.
• After listing your group in the Looking for Group UI, the UI will now automatically search for other groups interested in the same activities.
• In the Looking for Group UI, the entire dropdown body can now be clicked to open the dropdown.

9.1.5 General Thoughts

As a direct result of the feedback we’ve seen here, Arms Warriors will see a complete redesign of the 2-piece and 4-piece set in today’s PTR build. We’ll have the notes updated soon.

While a great many players’ Ranks have been corrected, we continue to work through the fixes for every Season of Mastery realm in every region. We expect that work to take several more hours to complete. We’re currently scheduling realm restarts for some realms tomorrow to help speed up the process.

Please note that any gold refunds for high rank gear that is removed will come later. It may take several days for all refunds to be processed.

The Lionheart (AU) Season of Mastery Realm has been returned to service and is available for play.

During this downtime, we tracked down every character that transferred to the realm and began the process of returning them to their origin and reversing their actions. That work is still underway, and we will continue to ensure that no items or economic impacts remain on Lionheart.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

We’ve temporarily disabled the Lionheart (AU) Season of Mastery realm while we take our next steps to address the transfer bug experienced on that realm.

We’ll provide further updates here as soon as possible.

At this time, we’re running calculations that will bring Season of Mastery players who have earned Honor to the correct Rank. This may take a little while to complete, and if you aren’t seeing your correct Rank thereafter, logging out and back in may be required.

As soon as we can, we intend to refund and remove gear from player-characters who do not meet the Rank requirement to have obtained the gear. With that ...
