Genuine question: could you go into why Scharnhorst has a low skill ceiling? I understand the lack of powerful guns but was curious if there are other factors that make you feel this way so I can learn a bit more effectively.

This is a great idea, and something I should do. To tell you the truth, I am afraid of playing close most of the time in any ship, as I don't want to make a mistake, die and then let my team down with lack of impact. I think what I need to learn though is that it's ok to make those mistakes and get punished for them, because that will be the best way for me to learn how to not make those same mistakes once again.
Apologies if I misunderstand, but the announcement you shared here is the Discord announcement of the live stream that happened on Wednesday at 5pm CT where we unveiled the IJN CL line (among a few others). What is being referenced in the original post is a separate thing, which is a live reveal of a singular, new ship that will be held on the Discord.

My suggestion would be to try these issues out after you download this patch. If you are still seeing issues, please report them here:
Whoa that is a BEAUTIFUL paint job
It's very interesting to me to see the different viewpoints on the Anchorage specifically. For some reason, I felt like most of the responders here would be into the Anchorage just due to her unique flavor. It's fascinating to see y'all's viewpoints! Keep 'em coming!

AP shells fuse at 1/6 of their calibur size (for the most part). Edgar has 152mm, so 152/6 = ~25mm. Also, shoutout to @Ahskance on helping me out with this answer.
EDIT: Had some incorrect numbers in here before, edited to correct it.
Yeah! I did a lot of strings of operations earlier this year (Newport being one of them). I really enjoy ops! I find myself going back to them frequently regardless of what the Op of the Week is.
