From the Patch Notes:

Intensity settings below 0.5 may have inconsistent results across different controller types due to variance in vibration motors

We fixed it this afternoon, will be reflected in tomorrow's update patch notes. :D

It does! We actually pushed the fix today (no client update required) and it will be listed in the PNs tomorrow.

Rocket Pass 5 and Season 13 will end the morning of the 25th (exact time will be shared on our Twitter beforehand). Rocket Pass 6 and Season 14 will both start a few hours later.

Bug/glitch: Rocket Pass wheels awarded after a match have a graphic issue. This was actually happening before the update but persists in v1.74

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Evidence: Example here. All wheels do this to some degree. (sorry for poor pic - I've not had a chance to upload screenshots from my switch)

Thanks for this -- so it's just the Wheels in the preview pic that have the glitch? Or do they glitch out at all when you're using them on a car?

Settings would have changed for you if you never moved them off the original default settings. If you were already using custom values for the settings we changed, those would not have been touched.

I started using a new controller last week and it would connect fine, but after a couple hours would disconnect. I would "forget device" then re-pair it and it would work again. With the recent RL update, it doesn't stay connected at all unless it is connect through Steam.

Any luck with an older controller? If the new one was having some sort of connectivity issue before yesterday's update, want to be able to rule out the hardware.

Comment

Hello and sorry to hear about the trouble. When did the connectivity problem start?

We're going to add a "Legacy" option in a future update, timing TBD. Goal is to have it in the same update that brings the Decal fix mentioned in OP to consoles.

Roger that, going to discuss internally. Seeing a few cases related to 4K and multi-monitor setups.

Primary: 1920x1080@144

Secondary: 2560x1440@60

Edit: Out of curiosity I set both to 1920x1080@60 and that did not change anything.

This is likely related to the DirectX 11 changeover. Please try reverting to DX9 and let me know if you're still having this issue. Steps below.

To opt out of DirectX 11, and revert to DirectX 9:

  • Open Steam
  • Right-click Rocket League, select Properties
  • Choose Select Launch Options under the General tab
  • Paste in -dx9, select OK
  • Start Rocket League

Are both monitors the same resolution?

Bug: After the new update my controller does not vibrate anymore when I hit the ball for example. When I set it to high it does do it but it just feels odd in my hands. (what im trying to say is medium and high do not feel like the old settings)

  Platform: Steam (PC)

  Video: none

EDIT: I did read the patchnotes. Im sorry if I was unclear but sadly the controller vibration does not feel the same when I swap it to medium or high. If its high I finaly feel it when I touch the ball but when I boost my controller is spazzing out. I use a xbox one controller btw. But it could be just me that cant get the old feel back.

Intentional change, please see the patch notes. If you want rumble on during the entire boost period, switch the setting to Medium or Heavy.
