You'd be lucky to see this Rioter return.

Target Dummy was already unkillable and Riot is giving it BUFFS?
Smh, clown company doesn't know what its doing
as a target dummy main im really excited for these changes. A bit sad my secret pick is going to be meta, but the target dummy meta was always inevitable
Sorry for getting your hopes up but Nexus Blitz isn't ready right now. We were turning on the ARAM Clash and NB snuck in there
I have nothing to ask, just wanted to say I love it! Amazing work from everyone involved! Wish you make it permanent
We're glad you're enjoying it!
Do you like pie?
I love a good pie
Why did you decide to make the hat potion cost as much as other potions instead of letting us delight in maximum hat overdrive by making it free or 50g?
Why do you deny Hats?!
Arena Rule #2: Fashion isn't free
Hey Redditors and future Gladiators!
We’re some of the Modes Team members that helped bring League’s newest game mode, Arena, to life and we’re here to answer your questions! The game mode has been live for a few days now, so we’re curious to get your thoughts on it as well.
This AMA will run from 10am-12pm, but a few Rioters will likely stick around to keep answering questions.Rioters joining the AMA will include:
Read more External link →did they pull the yorick changes?
They made it in! Patch notes should be updated shortly but the change is as follows:
Fixed a bug where Yorick’s ghouls’ leaping attacks after hitting his E and his Maiden’s basic attacks would incorrectly apply lifesteal
It might have been a different one actually, wasn't there one with graphs? That showed how quickly it fell off for gamemodes.
Could be wrong though, maybe it was an ask riot or something else.Surprised to hear that's changed, that's lovely to hear ♥
We really love awesome modes like this 2v2v2v2 and others so I'm very grateful.
Hmm, maybe this one?
Just speaking on behalf of myself, I really appreciate the fact that Rioters are constantly revaluating our decisions based on the questions "is this what players want?" and "do players like this?" It's really refreshing to work with people that are open to change and continuously try do what's right for our players.
is there anyone that can give clarification on why these gamemodes go away?
There's at least one dev blog that answered this a couple years ago, basically people play a lot the first few days then never play them again. This was the case for all gamemodes besides URF iirc.
Here's the devblog you're thinking of.
We've changed and evolved how we're thinking about games modes since this went live a few years ago, but this can show you how we were approaching it at the time.
Here are some commonly asked questions we've seen being asked about Arena! Got some more questions? Drop them down below and I'll do my best to try and respond
Will I be able to make custom games?
No, in order to have the game more ready for summer we weren't able to include this feature. However if players play and like the mode enough we're absolutely looking at adding this in the future
Can I queue with more than 1 friend?
We're definitely considering adding this if the game mode does well! We just couldn't get this feature ready in time for the initial launch.
Will Arena be permanent?
We are really excited about the mode, but we want to make sure players are as excited as we are. If players really dig it, we'll bring it back and/or explore making a permanent version.
When is Arena going live?
It goes to PBE later today, and onto live servers on July 20.
This one was a misunderstanding on my end when writing the context, the dev that worked on the change knew that though - we just missed it during review
Do you still play on trackpad bc muscle memory?
absolutely not, I was shamed into buying a mouse
Really appreciate the detail going into the description of each change in these patch notes. Felt very clear and transparent on the balance teams thought process
Thanks, I'm glad you liked them!
When will the patch hit live servers?
should be in the early AM on 6/14 for most regions
Vex Aram adjustment typo u/RiotMaxw3ll
I got this one!
Should be Vex: Damage Dealt 100% >>> 95%
I started playing back in Season 3 around the time Aatrox came out. A lot of people in my dorm were playing it and I got hooked after learning esports existed and league had a huge one.
Great times, but learning on a trackpad was an AWFUL experience
Read moreHey Riru, I have a couple of concerns about the changes to the number of clash games per year:
To preface this, I've played in almost every single bracket since the beta, and there's a few things I noticed.
The biggest problem I have with Clash is just having a team that is available all the time. There are times where you will have one teammate that has to go out of town or someone cancels last minute because something comes up. I am typically the only one scouting out teammates, meaning most people aren't spending a lot of time putting together a team. A lot of players end up asking "do we have 5 players tonight" and then just play.
The secondary problem to this is that most players who are playing Clash just play Clash regularly. If you look at match history from scouting, a large group of players did play in the previous tournament, so I don't believe this is going to inflate the numbers enough to counter the bigger problem which is smurfing.
Ove...
First of all thanks for your commitment to Clash and for writing this up! I think the team would agree with some assessments you've made, but I can definitely tell you we're trying stuff out.
Some changes might work (we're hopeful they do!) and resolve issues, some stuff might not and might get changed later. The main goal is to make Clash a higher quality experience for participants that feels good/worth to participate in.
To respond to your "if you just want to play on SR, you're going to have to wait two months for the next bracket to come up" comment in particular, this is actually something we chatted about today since its popped up a few times (thank you reddit feedback) so its something we're thinking about at the very least.
Not many people will care about this, but hopefully the Clash Challenges will get updated along with the new schedule. If not, at 14 clash weekends per year:
- Clash Contenders: Win 800 games in Clash
- If you win every tournament 3-0, this will now take 800 / (14*6) = 7 years
- Clash Champion: Win 250 Clash brackets
- 250 / (14*2) = 9 years
- Scoreboard: Finish with more wins than losses in Clash 500 times
- 500 / (14*2) = 18 years
This is a great callout, ill pass this on to the team--thanks!

Vayne spotting, what an ancient meme lol
Ardent Censer
We’re putting more power into the passive and adding movement speed
into Ardent Censer so that it’s easier to keep up with the teammates
you’ll be enhancing. Vayne spotting just got a little bit easier.
oh no, am I old now
