Hey y’all, just got in this morning and it looks like the blocks on the Honor Shard Random Chest, Honor Leapstone Random Chest, and Support Honing Random Materials Chest in the frog shop that happened overnight were on these items that were roster bound that were intended to be released to the shop as character bound. We will be making that switch to character bound and I will work on getting official messaging out as quickly as possible this morning. I apologize for any confusion that the overnight changes caused.

Since some folks were wondering earlier, just wanted to make sure y’all know any of the items purchased from the frog will not expire (only the event tokens will)

The drops are RNG, but I will confirm that the drop rate is as intended

The chests will no expire when the frog goes away – any purchased items have no expiration, only the event shop tokens will disappear. We’ve also reached out to see if we can get clarity on whether the engraving chests will update to include Artist engravings after the update.

The coins do drop as RNG. I don’t have an exact rate and am not sure if I will be able to share one, but I will confirm that they are dropping as intended.

Unfortunately these skins don’t have an Artist line since they came out before she was created in KR. Sorry!!

At the moment the plan is for it to go away at the time of the March Update – the date hasn’t been shared, of course, but expect sometime around mid-March. Toad will be here a handful of weeks.

Right now the plan is that the frog will disappear prior to Artist release, however I will see if I can follow up and get a solid answer about holding onto engravings and what not for her.

She is certainly among one the deadliest, but whereas Yoho has a level of challenge and difficulty, some of the aspects of Caliligos were more frustrating and less challenging, which is the reason for these changes.

The goal of these changes isn’t necessarily to make the content strictly easier, but less frustrating is definitely one way to look at it, which is in line with what a lot of folks are expressing in this thread.

Nope, unfortunately we don’t have an official livestream planned for the anniversary!

Bots definitely decided it was fishing season over the weekend – the team has already escalated this and is working on the next attack pattern to crush 'em.

Since this is a live service game, it’s constantly being worked on and things are always changing and shifting. We don’t want to share information before we get word it is locked whenever possible.

Not an exact date until after the anniversary happens! Once we get through February and this week’s update and enter March we’ll announce the date for the March Update.

Vern powerpasses are still available to earn for new players (though they don’t send you as far). Tomorrow’s update won’t include a new limited Powerpass to earn, but we’ll have more opportunities for leveling events and powerpasses in the future.
