This isn’t what I said at all, so please don’t project this. Feedback is always appreciated and taken into account wherever possible, but sometimes the reality in game development (at any company) is that no amount of feedback can increase the amount of resources a team has or make work be completed faster. I want to make sure that is understood.

Don’t chalk it all up to complaining – the feedback was well, WELL understood but as mentioned in the post that went out today luckily the development schedule shifted which will allow us to bring the class forward a bit. Without that, it wouldn’t have been possible to change that date. Just a small reminder that sometimes there are limitations outside of feedback. But regardless of all that, we’re happy that it could happen for everyone!!

There is no merge date set right now. The tech to pull off a merge is being explored at the moment, but I don’t have any word on when (or potentially if) this could be finished, as a region merge is not something that has ever been done in the game before.

Appreciate the feedback on the compensation and other things that were missed – we’ll be taking this back to the team to see if there’s anything else we are able to deliver to players to make up for this issue. I will let you know when I have an update later this week.

Full patch notes will still be out at the usual timing, but we’ll have a small piece of news headed everyone’s way this week, so keep an eye out for that update. I think folks will like it.

In terms of the current compensation, this should only be available for 1 week and redeemable by your main character, but the team is looking into it for extra clarity

Tis has been an interesting piece of feedback bubbling up from the Witcher event! I’ve seen similar in a few places. Will pass it along :slight_smile:

Moving this to bug reports to see if we can get it resolved, but this is unintended as the song isn’t available in the game yet. You can complete with one of the other songs though, so no issues!

No plans to release new versions of these events in February as of right now! There will be more opportunities later this year.

That does make sense, and I definitely understand the train of thought! But yeah, when it comes to accessories, engravings, and all the other systems that are so class dependent I don’t really see a best path for how something like this would be implemented.

Of course, I could always be wrong and the devs could come up with a way to do this at some point! But I do know it’s not ever been on the table as long as I’ve been around at least, and I’d be surprised to see it.

Compensation won’t require a downtime to deploy, so we’d like to get it out as soon as possible regardless of the weekly updates!

Yep – we have our maintenance tonight and this should be resolved after it occurs, but I’ll keep an eye out here in case these problems persist, so please don’t hesitate to let us know.
