Please reach out to the host, they may need to adjust their systems to allow you to login the server to an account.

Where do you get the text that is in your opening post? It's not contained in the logs?

That is not possible. (Games started through the client don't need a registration, though, so you should be able to play just fine by starting the world locally through the client.)

You need to be offline, that's all. Can you please post the full log?

If you hover over the respective "Not eligible" notice in the Marketplace info screen it'll tell you that there needs to have been a small amount of active play hours from multiple people in the recent time. Additionally the server needs to have been in online mode, public and without password. There is additional requirements to prevent abuse that aren't disclosed.

The purchase issue should be resolved, we're still looking into Steam linking.

No, there is requirements for a server to be eligible for hosting credit share.

I host and generate a new world. So it should offline, i thought! Why its downloading the world?

Have you connected to a server before? There is a known issue that requires a restart of the game to reconnect to a server, it'll be fixed as soon as possible.

The .template files do contain all existing settings. A documentation for them is available via the Server UI that opens when you start the server executable on Windows.

The wiki is a solely community-run project, it is only hosted but not managed by us.

We deployed a change that should allow you to change your password on the website correctly now, please do that and then try to login to server with the updated credentials.

The .template files for configs adjust automatically after you updated the server, just compare them with your current ones.

Please reach out to [email protected] with the server id found in Network.eco, so we can check.

We don't actually offer support for Docker, it's provided as-is.

It's important that administrators check the .template files after every update and adjust their configs, that is the general procedure for updating an Eco server. The templates will always have the up-to-date configs.

Of course both the server and the client need to be in offline mode, the mode is intended for when you are actually offline.

No, you should be able to login with the username and the password. If you can login with the credentials on play.eco, you also should be able to login in the server. Did you make sure your username is written exactly as displayed in play.eco? It is case sensitive.

Account verification isn't necessary currently, that message can be ignored.

Have all of you used the password reset feature?

The reason is the same as for why Valve requires you to get a token from a Steam account with verified mobile phone number to host a Counter-Strike or similar server - enforcing Terms of Service. Hence an opt-out is not possible.

Yes, it works without account in offline mode.
