A few screenshots, showing the claims, would probably help as well, especially roofs can be a bit wonky sometimes if they're not flat.

I'm not entirely sure what you need, but the translator suggests it's about creating a server, for which this wiki page might help: https://wiki.play.eco/en/Setting_Up_a_Server

But keep defending this piss poor performance game that MANY have complained about. Far beyond "Niche" at this point, that's a ridiculous statement, as seen from the many upvotes on this post. The poor performance happens on multiple systems for me, my PC, my laptop, and my SteamDeck. I'm glad you have a good experience, but I'm not alone on my complaints, just check out the official forums. I've been supporting this game since 2019. I want to love it. But I can't in it's current state. It really does pain me. Of course it's emotional for me, for the past 3 years, this has been my favorite game.

Your statements are pure conjecture and are so far off base, it ...

The 'sensible developer' was me and we still have a zero tolerance policy towards personal attacks there as well as here. You omit asking me if I'm crazy when I told you about the simple fact of the speed of the "e" pickup (that being the rule violation, not your opinion of our game), always communicating with a disrespectful attitude (as you show here as well), being provocative (Quote: "I don't think it broke the guidelines at all. Because I said your game is BUTT? Because the game is now BUTT.") after having been told cleary to stop (the violation being refusing to stop and discuss on) and then questioning my job. Consequently your infringing posts were removed and your account temporarily locked. None of them were related to performance.

You can find that acceptable, according to our rules it's not. It's fine if you criticize our product, even heavily - all posts doing that on Steam are still available, including if all they do is saying "sh*t game". It's not ever fine ...

We called that "Towns & Nations" before, basically multiple government per world.

Hello Eco Citizens,
today we'd like to give you an update on where we’re taking Eco after our 9.6 release. As an Early Access title, we’re always looking to balance adding features with polishing existing ones, and we’ve decided to have a final Eco 9 update that is focused solely on performance - Update 9.7.

A major part of our team will be focused on both client and server performance, fixing some long standing issues that should make the game a much smoother experience, especially on lower end machines. Our CTO Alex will tell you a bit of the details on how we plan to make it work:

Our strategy is to compare profiling snapshots we collect from QA and players on public test servers after hours of gaming. There are no obvious reasons we can easily fix, but one thing we noticed is greatly increased transform update... Read more

Given I don't see it mentioned by others: You cannot play it offline, as in with no internet connection, you can play it solo on a locally hosted server, but need a internet connection.

That's no longer necessary, there is a global growth modifier in the difficulty settings :)

Hey Eco Citizens,
today we release Update 9.6.6 to fix a major issue with civics. We expect this to be the last update before 9.7.

  • Fixed: Certain conditions in civics were ignored, leading to all types of civics to not work properly in specific circumstances.
  • Improved: Adjusted glass to have a bit more opacity, based on your feedback.

Hey Eco Citizens,
we're releasing 9.6.5 to address the issue with holding the interaction key to pick up materials, thanks for reporting!

  • Fixed: Holding down the interaction key to continue picking up materials until the key is released didn't work.

At least from our side there is no plans for that as that would be pretty opposite of our goals in regards to everything in Eco being done by real players and the interaction coming from that.

It's the folder where the EcoServer.exe is in. Mod files itself should go to /Mods/UserCode/ folder in most cases, but make sure to follow the instructions the modder gave.

So much simple stuff, you'd think they were getting a big fat government paycheck or something.

The last time we received funds from a government was for the prototype in cooperation with the University of Illinois before Kickstarter, that one didn't even include most of the current features and had a whole different target audience that only changed with Kickstarter. That's more than 6 years ago.

Pretty much everything mentioned here is planned, aside from cloning shop settings and vehicle horns.
