Steam has been gradually recovering and we don’t currently expect anyone to encounter issues when attempting to link their accounts from this point on.
We are currently monitoring an issue resulting in many Steam-provided services being severely degraded or unavailable. Unfortunately, the API used to perform account linking is impacted by this, and so it is not currently possible to link Steam and Last Epoch accounts.
Additionally, the Steam Discussion Boards for Last Epoch are currently inaccessible.
Does insomnia count?
They will definitely perform similarly.
Outside of summoners who’ll likely be using Move or Break Destructible, many of the people requesting this were citing a preference to be able to use a single button for their main attack skill and movement. If you’re using RMB and have that option enabled, it relies on you being able to mouse over targets - and so, if there are none, it won’t be very effective.
This is the initial implementation of making LMB customizable, and we’ll definitely be tracking feedback and discussing changes to it which we can implement in future patche...

Option 1 is Move Only. This will only ever move your character.
Option 2 is Move or Break Destructible. This will move your character, unless the mouse cursor is over a barrel or similar item, in which case you will perform a basic attack against it.
Option 3 is Move or Attack. This will move your character, unless the mouse cursor is over an enemy, in which case you will use skill #5 (RMB, by default) against them. This is simplifying it somewhat; the tooltip for this goes into greater detail and can be found in the first post.
Thanks for the response.
That problems were found and resolved is encouraging.
I’d considered teasing a half dozen or so, but I can refrain from doing so if that would be preferred.
It’s something we’ve discussed.
The concern is that we want people to go with whichever is their preference. If some options grant the character more power or utility, they may be considered mandatory.
The ‘Move or Break Destructible’ option should fit that use case.
Our upcoming update, Patch 0.7.6, focuses on improving quality of life and addressing feedback. Something we hadn’t been ready to commit to being included in 0.7.6 at the time of the Patch Preview thread being posted was a change to the left mouse button (“LMB”).
Currently, the LMB is used exclusively for movement so that characters will always respond intuitively to user input. We believe that this is a good choice to have for default behaviour. In Patch 0.7.6, we are implementing two alternative behaviours for the LMB.

Here’s how you would check;
So, the way mastery classes work in Last Epoch is that you have access to the bottom half of all three, and can unlock access to the entirety of a single mastery class by completing a quest available in the End of Time town hub. (This choice is permanent.)
As you don’t appear to have chosen the Paladin (or any other) mastery class, the game not allowing you to spend points in passives located higher up in the Paladin mastery class.
I’ve just looked at this in-game, and the game isn’t currently communicating this very well. I’ll speak with the team about ways of clarifying this, however I don’t think we’d be able to make and test any changes in time for the changes to be included in our next update.`
Edit: The numbers for each class are intended to track how many points have been spent in that class, however they appear to instead be showing how high up that class you have unlocked access to. I’ll add this to our issue tracker so it can be...
Could you please post a screenshot?
That would explain the loss of progression.
At release Last Epoch will support both online-only characters which will be stored server-side, and offline-only characters which will be stored in dedicated save files. Presently save data is in the default location for the game engine, which for Windows is indeed the Registry.
Thanks for letting us know that you found a workaround.
We’ll soon be releasing Patch 0.7.6, which will improve the game’s ability to properly detect input peripherals. Could you let us know whether your Corsair mouse works after updating?
Was this on the same computer - and if so, have you since used any utilities which interact with the Windows Registry, such as CCleaner?
Moving thread from #bug-reports to #technical-support.
Sorry about this!
The installer currently requires significantly more storage than what is actually taken up by an install of the game. One workaround here is to install the game through Steam instead.
This support article shows how to do so (without buying the game again).
I’ll move this thread from #feedback-and-suggesti...
Read moreHi Sunikiz,
I’m sincerely about this.
There was recently a brief surge of similar reports due to an error on our end, however that has since been resolved and so this is no longer a widespread problem.
I can confirm both that we have received your support request and that we have since replied. If you send us the log file as requested, we’ll be better able to help you with this.
I have tried making one adjustment on our end just now which might help - so it may be worth trying to log in again. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and we really do appreciate your early support. We’ll be sure to get this working for you as soon as possible.
Hi again,
Please download and install this software from Microsoft’s website.
Could you then please try the steps in this support article, also on Microsoft’s website?
