It’s an interesting topic but sometimes you have to remember RS can overwhelm you even when working on it.

There’d be times where I’d loot beam myself as someone kills a boss to try and get that reaction or just turn everyone into Goebies and let them run wild, admittingly it was easier for me because I worked in community whereas a Dev may not have that freedom.

For a game like RS I know for a fact that every developer is going their absolutely hardest but it can take their toll on them especially when it comes to community comments, the RS community can be absolutely brutal and I’ve seen first hand what it’s done to them.

I agree fun is great but sometimes the negativity can get them down.

I think this is why combat week was such a hit, compared to having to suffer multiple millions in a setback due to a server issue and/or one mistake is brutal and demotivating.

I don't work for Jagex so I'm not sure how what the parameter scale would be for this.

If you destroyed them I imagine you'll be fine, they can check that so fair play for doing that at the least!

Can tell you for a fact without Jagex clamping down on me that it absolutely won’t have 15 phases I chased down that leak personally and it was a load of BS which the person admitted they did to stir up the users.

There is absolutely no sign of "Runescape 3" not even on the logo on the right.

1: I can tell you personally that the whole "RuneScape 3" naming was killed of a year or two ago so no surprise/secrets there.

2: Cross-platform likely refers to the Steam client playing with the RuneScape client as well as Mobile.

3: This is a big step, and I really hope it pays off for them!

At the time I wrote the post I said it was but have said afterwards it’s an exploit, didn’t want to edit it at the time to suddenly change the messaging.

How did you notify them? And did you get an acknowledgment the issue was known?

It is an exploit, absolutely not a bug.
