There is always that possibility for every update. But as others have pointed out. New Power was just over 3 weeks ago. All of this is pretty much bonus extras.

Welcome to preliminary update notes for War Thunder "New Power" Update.

New vehicles in update may have inaccuracies in characteristics, armour and weaponry settings.


The armour model for new ground vehicles in update is “work in progress” and is liable to adjustment or improvement.


Some new aircraft lack c*ckpits.


Some ground vehicles lack a visible crew.


There may be a lack of localization for some equipment.


No sound played in some events.

By the same logic any A-129 variant in future (the main Italian Helicopter) would be copy paste. Yet people are also asking for even more variants of it.

We welcome further suggestions and feedback for the trees improvement. But rants wont solve or help anything.

This is incorrect actually. There are theoretically about 5 Lynx variants we could add in the same manor as the A-129 family, as well as then future options like the Westland Wessex we already spoke about.

A-109 and A-129 are both unique helicopters. Plus, people play helicopters to use mostly with their ground forces. Not how unique they are otherwise the Mi-24 family would be redundant by that logic.

As we said earlier. The same is true with the Lynx family. There is Lynx AH 7, AH 9, HAS 2, HMA 8, Battlefield Lynx (3) that we could add, each with progressive upgrades, engines, loadouts etc but adding too many version of a helicopter almost the same as an existing one defeats the purpose. Consider that each one added is going to be another 380,000 RP you must research to unlock, so for that to be viable, it needs to be a distinct and worthwhile enough differe...

I warned everyone in advance not to expect a huge amount this update as New Power was a sizable update, so this was always going to be a smaller one.

In the last update, France got a second variant of what still is one of the most powerful tanks in game as well as the Jaguar A before that and Mirage IIIC (What is still one of the top performing aircraft in game) before that.

There is more for France to look forward too beyond this update, but you and others constantly derailing this topic with sarcasm because you are unhappy with the additions to the French tree is not going to speed any of them up.

Making a long list is all very fine and dandy but totally unrealistic for actually implementing them.

Acquiring resources, pictures and everything required to actually make them and create them in game is a whole separate matter of fact that you entirely overlook.

Now I would strongly suggest after today you cease constantly taking this topic off the rails down your own path. There are topics to discuss this that you seem to just ignore.

This is a final warning. Valid constructive feedback is one thing (in the right place of course), but constantly dragging this subject off topic because you dont personally agree with the implementation of something is not going to help change anything.

Once again, there are no other options on a British Gazelle. Thats all it ever carried. So it cant be a starter helicopter or implement...

Different presents for different conditions. The Japanese Huey has no guns at all but more rockets, the AB 205 has the option of either.

We already forwarded this to the devs. Again, these vehicles are WIP and their weaponry may not be final.

You seem to entirely misunderstand.

The French Gazelle M may start with SNEBs, but it can also unlock Mistral, HOT-1 and HOT-2.

A British Gazelle would only have access to 14 x SNEB and only that. No further options or unlocks, hence why it is not viable as a starter helicopter.

If more information could be found of further weaponry that was fitted to British ones, sure. But 14 SNEBs alone is not enough.

Whilst the AB 205 also has guns too to counterbalance that.

French Gazelle also has access to guns, ATGMs and Mistral too. So this comparison is meaningless.
