Its not planned this major that im aware for them to receive a new top SPAA. They have the 9A35M2 which fills an important gap which was more requested.
Not everything has to be a new top fighter all the time to be worth adding. Strike and multirole also exist in the game.
The Harrier GR.7 for example is currently doing very well in Air RB and its not a pure "fighter" by any stretch.

The fact the teaser is out, does not mean I or any other staff member is going to detail the contents of the patch or who is getting what immediately after. So pinging us asking "Will X get Y", is not going to yield a result today.

Indeed and as has been explained, the Phantoms were in service for a very long time before its replacement came around, which was later than the other aircraft currently being added (potentially with far more advanced weaponry too).

None of the aircraft shown in the teaser are in their final configurations yet. It was purely a teaser to show of the major stars.
Just to clarify, we have made no assurances that a tech tree version is coming. We simply said not in this patch. Which is the only timeframe we ever talk about.
True. The name can change, most importantly it's just making sure it answers people correctly and resists the ban program ))
