Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback on the Sniper Specialization. I didn't get the chance to use it, but I can imagine the frustration.

While I know the PvE DZ conversation can get... heated... I just want to remind everyone that the forums are meant for civil discussion and sharing ideas without personal attacks.

How might the negative stat attachments alter weapons when optimized for one style? Does it help or hinder build diversity?

+20% for stat A with -50% for stat B could possibly be extrapolated to +100% for stat A, -50% for stats B, C, D, E, and F... Leading to a weapon built specifically for one thing.

How might that level of specificity and choice impact later-stage builds?

I see a enemy using a heavy machine gun, I notice a un protected arm, I fill that full of bullets, his arm goes limp or is shot off, he cant fire the machine gun as it requires both arms, so he has to switch to a pistol.

IGN First Gameplay : We're 20 minutes of total buchery. And yet, there's litteraly not a single drop, or blood stain to be seen, anywhere !

Shall we expect a .50 Cal Headshot to have the effect it is supposed to have ?
Just like the 1st game, the division is seriously lacking the obvious : Some Gore & Death Animations.
Blood at least.

I did. In truth I'm trying to dance around some of my more passionate disagreements.

With my questions I was trying to crack at the larger point that all sorts of players can play the same games for different reasons. Beyond that, we all bring something personal to the games we play. Someone who goes in-depth on a game's systems and likes number crunching/optimizing can still apply that interest and knowledge to multiple games, even if those games are nothing alike. Just as someone who just likes to kick back, relax, and hav... Read more

Alright, we're going super high-concept here...
Where do you guys get your engagement from within The Division? Is it from the narrative, the world, the gunplay, the PvP combat, the PvE combat, the difficulty, the complexity etc? What do you enjoy about games - The Division or otherwise? Why do you play games?
