AoC's lore will be told to us through the story itself, so any big lore dumps would be complete spoilers rn. And any basic lore for the game is already available on the wiki

Nice wiki drop! And this is the truth :) We really want to keep our lore cards close to our chest, so to speak :)

While it wouldn't be impossible to give lore drops more often; that might step on the toes of the awesome work our narrative and quest designers are doing to masterfully deliver the lore of Verra to you while you're playing Ashes of Creation! :)

With that said, I'm curious @Chicago , what is your experience with open-world dungeons? My own is pretty somewhat, so it's always interesting hearing if others are similar to me in that sense, or if they have a lot of experience with open-world dungeons!

@Roshen and I talk about this often, as he has a lot of open-world dungeon/raid experience in MMORPGs! :)

Keep in mind that everything we show is alpha stage footage and gameplay! The environments aren't complete, and haven't had touch-ups or finishing touches applied to them! This includes lighting, textures, etc! <3

Could there be a server where you only have 1 character?

So your concerns are mostly that of alts taking away from some experiences? From my own experience, I've usually kept most of my playtime to one or two characters on a server, just because that's what my time allows. I know friends who have had many alts, but they also generally had more time to invest!

Cast time as a game mechanic is perfect.

Hiya! We do record Office Hours for internal use only.

In order to share the recordings with players, we'd need consent from everyone involved. This isn't easy to do, and doing so would likely change the nature of Office Hours.

For now, Office Hours is live only! We currently alternate the times between 11am PT and 4pm PT! <3
