You'll now find a new monetization tab in a new navigation panel on each published project within Creator Portal. This new tab provides metrics related to your island’s engagement payout. Team owners can now access this feature in Creator Portal. Additionally, documentation has been updated with information on what analytics are now available.

Scene Graph is now available as an Experimental feature in UEFN

We release tools as Experimental to give you the chance to try out new functionality that is still under development. This allows you to try out new features and helps us improve them based on your feedback.

Please note that you won’t be able to publish content created using it until the Early Access release. The timing of the release is still to be determined, and we’ll share more details in the future.

Scene graphs are particularly useful when working on environments populated with large amounts of content. If you’re looking for a way to build richer, deeper Fortnite islands in the future, this feature is for you.

Scene Graph is now available! You can try it out in UEFN as an “Experimental” feature. An Experimental release means you won’t be able to publish islands using it until the Early Access release, but you can try it out in UEFN while it’s still in development!

Notes, a newly added tool in UEFN, will make collaboration and iteration much easier for teams by allowing you to capture feedback and action items directly in your viewport!

You can now incorporate Player Built Walls and Structures (PBWS) on your LEGO® Islands! Look out for the LEGO row to be back in Discover soon featuring all the latest LEGO Islands.

You’ll also find new assets for Creative and UEFN, documentation updates on EDC, and a new monetization tab in Creator Portal.

Is there a known issue where players cannot slide on creative maps? (possibly started when the new season released)

i am experiencing this in edit mode in fortnite creative. public versions of my maps that i previously published are fine and sliding works properly. but while editing any of my maps, or testing the gameplay, you cannot slide. i know there is an option to turn sliding on/off and my settings are turned on. i also checked all other settings many times to try and see if something was conflicting with this.

i have now published a new map today to see if this sliding issue carries over to public release, and it does! all i can do for now is unlist my new map, and i am not able to update my other 2 maps out of fear that this sliding bug will make people not want to play my maps.

i contacted epic support and they tell me to do a bug report in game, but there is no selectable option for not being able to slide. and there is no place for me to write a...

In v30.00, we introduced a feature that would notify both creators in-editor and players in-session whenever the experience they were playing on encountered a Verse runtime error.

Due to feedback, we are temporarily removing showing this notification to players, but creators will still be notified in-editor while testing their islands. The ability to view these reports in the Content Service portal remains unchanged.

In the Creative inventory Content browser for Creative and UEFN, Consumables have been renamed to Items to improve asset and item labeling.

We’re happy to share that by the end of September, creators based in Turkey will be able to enroll in the Island Creator Program, where they will be able to publish Fortnite islands and be eligible to receive engagement payouts once live. We’ve been working to secure a payment processing partner who supports Turkey to make this possible and appreciate your patience.

We are excited to welcome the creator community in Turkey to the program, stay tuned for more information later this year.

Unreal Revision Control automatically makes collaboration more efficient and shortens production time by locking the assets you’re working on and preventing any other team member from making changes while you’re editing.
