still my favorite legendary/ultimate edition of any game ever. it turned out even better than we had hoped/expected.

My roommate and I just had these. They are pretty hard to describe besides incredibly strong and flavorful. Neither of us could tell if we loved or hated them, but we couldn’t stop eating them either. Very very bold tasting.
I swear there’s a hint of pickle tho, but my roommate couldn’t taste it.
Thanks for the review! I eat a lot of Pringles anyways and I'm really dying to get my hands on these. For science, of course. Not gonna lie though, that quad-moa-burger itself looks delicious.
oh please don't remind me.... I've told this story before, but my first day on the job at Bungie I made my way to my new desk and yep, there was Ling Ling in front of my PC, staring right at me. I still wake up in cold sweats sometimes.
At least some screenshots we haven't seen before!!
We got you covered.
Gameplay video. It has been so long since june 2020.
It won’t happen but i would love it.
Sorry, there won't be any gameplay footage in any of these updates. As we stated when we kicked these off, the goal is to help share high level updates and insights from members of the team in the time leading up to the bigger, official beats and marketing activities ramping up later this year. We are always going to try and find cool things we can share and/or show, but we're also delicately balancing the big moments planned for later this year and the work load the team is juggling. I will say that the team has made tremendous progress since the last showing in July and some of that will hopefully come through in today's update.
Very cool, great idea and great execution. Love it
Has it though? Not saying it's right or a good thing, but considering we went 12 month stretches of total darkness and our last update was on December 8, I don't think there's any cause to worry. Keep in mind that many of us around the studio were out of office for 2 or more weeks to end the year and then it takes time to get back into the swing of things, etc.
We also confirmed our Fall release window in that update, so now it's clear we have some runway ahead of us and some time to go. That said, we're committed to at least monthly high level updates and the next "Inside Infinite" is coming out this week! This month we're talking with members of the sandbox team to share some insights into their vision for Halo Infinite and the work they're doing. To manage expectations, this won't have world premier big screenshots or huge things like a date announce, but our goal is to offer our community more context and insights into our team and the game we're making while we're all awa...
The first Macworld demo w/ Jason Jones and the magazine articles that followed.
Glad you're enjoying it! And thank you for the kind words for the team. It's certainly been a journey and none of this would be possible without the support of the community. And the team isn't done yet - I'm excited about what's on tap this year with new seasonal content and features still coming.
Hmm don't recall ever seeing this shirt in gray (or do my eyes deceive me?). I still have a green version and a brown version and I still wear them periodically. I know we gave these out to the Bungie team at the time and they were used a few different marketing events. I don't have recollection of offering these for sale or anything, but maybe (some folks in this thread do seem to recall that). Art work was created by Bungie UI/UX artist Dave Candland. :)

Right now we're still going through the huge cascade of implications and ramifications to the release shift and the team is heads down working through nearly every facet of the game. Full disclosure we don't have anything planned for the VGAs, but are hoping to offer at least a high level update within the next few weeks so we can kind of restart this journey together after the holidays. Pulling together something like a demo or big beat for the VGAs is an enormous amount of work and would cause challenges with current milestones of the holidays. I know it's hard to wait, but the team is going to make the most of this extra time and we want to make sure we can put our best foot forward and commit to greater transparency and dialog on the road ahead. We'll get there and get the train going again.
Inb4 they surprise us all by releasing the demo and playing it on the stream with the fans.
(I know it's not gonna happen, but I wish it would.)
Sorry, but nothing Infinite is planned. Fahrny and I are supposed to make an appearance to talk briefly about the next-gen enhancements for MCC but that's it.
Hey folks, happy Friday! As I'm starting to flesh out the October MCC Development blog, I want to include a section where we can specifically address questions from the community. In addition to the usual stuff - updates on WIP features, development status, etc.. - I know there are many miscellaneous questions and topics that don't fit into the existing big buckets.
So, do you have a MCC related question for the 343 publishing team? Let me know here in this thread and it may get selected and included in this month's Waypoint blog.
thanks!

You guys kind of glossed over the contractor stuff when you were debunking other reports, any clarification on this stuff
Well there's nothing to "debunk" - yes, 343 has always had contract staff as part of our game development teams. Just as contract staff are on teams across all of Microsoft. Every contractor technically works for a different company (whatever agency they contract through) but all agencies must comply with Microsoft staffing guidelines and requirements. I can't really speak to all the various nuances between a contractor and a full-time employee - stuff like wage and benefits vary by agency and the offer a contractor has accepted with their employer. I've never personally witnessed any of these horror story examples, we work to be as inclusive as possible and treat the entire team equally.
Do you know how the delay has affected the overall mentality of the studio? Has it been a boost of morale, sigh of relief?
All of the above - getting more time to ensure the game lives up to their own ambitious bar is a big relief as is knowing they can do that work under less pressure. Win-win.

I'm ashamed to admit I was not previously aware of r/HaloMemes. I am now. :)
Been subpar lately due to broken leg but I'm trying to set aside money for all the awesome Halo merch rolling in. Was gonna start a review channel with all of it coming out and the leg shafted those plans.
Ouch, hope you recover quickly!
Hey Sketch, I remember you replying to me here about looking into the ranked distribution & matching issues. Unfortunately nothing has changed to make ranked a better playlist. Was wondering if anything will be lined up for when crossplay arrives so that the ranking system will work as it should. Thanks.
Another good post on the Ranked MM issues are here:
I brought this back to the attention of the team - thanks for flagging!
Hi ske7ch343, thanks for checking in. Really been enjoying the MCC with all the updates! Hoping that the team can keep up the pace and get all the promises features for 2020. As a bit of feedback, can you guys address the XP ranking system? It would be nice to see double-XP for the weekly featured playlist and help drive up population in them. Speaking of population, ranked playlists are nearly dead on PC, so double-XP would help here as well. Finally, hoping you all can make some changes to the XP requirements to rank up. 1.2billion XP is way too high to ever achieve while this game has any sort of population. I consistently play a ton of hours each week and I'm about halfway through the first blue shield rank at 70million XP, but that's only about 5% of the way to max rank. The requirements are truly insane and I don't see anyone ever getting there.
I've relayed this feedback to the team!
