I wouldn't read too much into it - certainly not something to take personally. We're lucky and thankful to have such a passionate and active subreddit and to have moderators who are open and collaborative with us. I've heard stories from other studios where that's far from the case.
At the surface, the subreddit can at times be intimidating and seem overly negative to people who don't have a chance to dive in a bit more (and even then, you're going to want overshields or at least pretty thick skin most days).
It's harder for the team at large because they only see slices and pieces (which can often be hot takes / negative) and they don't really have a means to weigh in and try and steer the conversation (due to being busy, not being up to speed on what's been publicly released so far, etc..).
