my matte black skin finishers don't even work
matte black actually gives you the unique finisher that applies on all kills, not just the final. it has the power to remove the alive status from your enemy and turn them grey as they fall to the ground. Because this finisher was given to you for free with matte black we've also transferred it to every other skin or damaging ability in the game because we don't want to gate the experience and force you to use what is clearly the best skin in the game.
Probably inspected the gun on a bright coloured wall and let the auto green screen thing do it’s job?
That's a wall. There's brick texture on it. It looks like OP put in some work.
we noticed a bug recently where finishers are getting destroyed too early. we're looking into it
Did you roto the inspect anim to get the text to appear behind it?
Hah this is really fun! Great work.
Performance bonuses are applied to draws, that 1 point is your performance bonus. Performance bonus is given out based on how well you perform compared to how your MMR expected you to perform in that match. If you were the highest rank, or the highest skilled player, maybe you were expected to do very well and only performed slightly better then expected.
This would be even more true if you were silver queueing with a friend/players that are lower rank. The more likely you are to be the highest MMR/Ranked player the higher you are going to have to perform(because the average MMR of the teams are probably going to be lower then your MMR since you are the highest skill player).
Sorry for the late reply but does that mean it very quickly changes it pattern when omen ulting and yoru e'ing? :)
Sorry for the even later response!
You would be right yeah. The rotation of the ball is defined by your location in x and y in the world. If you could teleport with the gun equipped, you would see the pattern snap into a different position.
oh yeah thats actually soo cool so you basically fake an orb. Thank you for the answer I'm still a junior in the industry, helps a lot!!!
That's only for the movement! There is actually something in the shader to fake paralax to give more depth and a multi layer effect.
All props for the shader goes to Chris Stone! I'm just a VFX Artist lol
There is a Node called ScreenPosition in the Material Shader in UE4 which basically pans the texture you are using everytime u move. I think they just used the Node for it, it's simple but has an awesome look to it.
Very close guess! We are actually using the Absolute World Position node to grab the position of the gun in the world. Then we mask out the Z axis so we can use the X and Y to offset the texture in their own axis.
If you walk in a straight line on the X-Axis of the world, the orb will spin horizontally, and if you walk on the Y-Axis, it will spin vertically! You would also notice that if you go straight up or down, the orb won't move ;)
Similar to what we did on Spectrum for the color shift, but in this case we used all 3 Axis of the Object Position Node to control everything.
after you play your first placement you start at 10% of the RR value you had at the end of the last act. For example; If you had 800 RR you would start the new Act with 80rr.
People are demons and have already grinded that many games.
