It looks like AURA LED Controller (ASUS Aura Sync) is still on your PC, is that right?

Unfortunately, I can’t identify the cause of your crashes. I recommend running through the solutions here: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360021422873--PC-How-to-Resolve-Most-Crashes-in-Vermintide-2-

I can’t provide an exact ETA, but we have a fix internally, so this should be resolved in our next patch! Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Do you have ASUS Aura Sync running on your PC? If so, please disable it by ending the lightingservice.exe process in the Task Manager.

This will be addressed in our upcoming patch, apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi @GiuEliNo

Sorry about that :frowning: we’ll look into this - to help us, can you please provide us with your console log from the session that this issue occurred?

To do so:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload the appropriate console log to us

Thank you in advance!

Hi @RedBeardedGiant,

The logs do indicate a GPU-related crash. I recommend running through potential solutions here:

I’ve queried this with one of our Gameplay Developers, and it’s intended for weapons with shields to have a shorter range than the weapons alone.

Hmmm, interesting, we might be on to something! With your headphones connected, do they appear as your Default Recording Device in here?:

  1. Right-click the speaker icon in the Taskbar
  2. Select ‘Sounds’
  3. Select the ‘Recording’ tab
