Hmm, we haven’t received any recent widespread reports of this challenge not unlocking.

Perhaps you were just unlucky with your attempts There are some useful player created guides online, I believe some recommend Stormvermin to be the easiest targets for this challenge.

We’ll monitor for any further reports just in case, but good luck on your next attempt!

I’ve checked your account and not to worry, I can see your purchased item and a remaining Shillings balance of 288.

We’ve been encountering a spike of Backend Error 1051 occurrences, which we are monitoring. Once the backend stabilizes, this should hopefully resolve the crashes and your Shillings balance should appear correctly again.

Not to worry. I’ve checked your account and can see a hat purchased today in your inventory, and a remaining Shillings balance of 313.

We’ve been experiencing a spike of Backend Error 1051 occurrences, which we are monitoring. Once the backend stabilizes, this should hopefully resolve the crashes and your Shillings balance should straighten itself out again.

Hmmm, if you switch back to the “normal” launcher, are you able to select the ‘Modded’ realm option and does it launch normally?

Based on the information in the logs, it appears your Intel(R) HD Graphics is set as your default GPU, as opposed to your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 .

This is consequently resulting in your crashes in Vermintide 2, as your default GPU cannot handle the demand.

Please see below for our solutions for this problem:

• Ensure your monitors are plugged in to the dedicated (as opposed to the integrated) GPU ports on the back of your PC
• Perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the appropriate instructions below:
  • NVIDIA GPUs: ...

I think this is something to do with Easy Anti-Cheat (our anti-cheat provider). Please repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup installer located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Could you try our ‘Launcher Workaround’ and see how it runs?:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Betas’ tab
4. In the dropdown, select ‘Temporary Launcher Workaround’
5. Restart Steam
6. Launch Vermintide 2
7. Select the ‘Bypass Launcher’ option
8. Click ‘Play’

Is there any more information displayed with the error, referencing a specific .exe perhaps? Screenshots may help!
