I believe this is ‘UI Improvements’!

Sorry about this, I appreciate it’s disheartening. Admittedly we are having issues identifying the cause of crashes of this nature - I’ll discuss this with my colleagues on Monday.

I don’t think this is necessarily launcher-related, I believe that’s what Event Viewer says for any crash. We’ll look in to it.

Could you all double-check you have the latest updates installed please?

If you could both provide logs from a session where you’ve played together, that would be ideal! Sorry for the inconvenience of it all.

Seeing as this is such a recent issue, do restart your PC and router, and have a look to see if your ISP has reported any recent instability.

Annoyingly, I still can’t see much of a reason for the crash. It’s very much a shot in the dark.

Failing that, as this is understandably an inconvenience, I’m happy to contact Steam and request that they process a refund for you should you rather take that option.

Same crash and all, we’ll have it resolved in our next patch.

Possibly mod-related but not sure, so added to the database to be on the safe side! Thank you as always.

Could you try a ‘Selective Startup’ and see if the issue persists, please?:

1. Press the Windows key
2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
5. Reboot your PC
6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal, and see if the issue persists
