It’s one of your UI mods - I think ‘UI Tweaks’

Another code-related crash, we’re on the case! Sorry about that!

Thank you @BerkenStrips, really appreciate the update! I’ll keep this in mind for similar cases!

Sorry for the delayed response @Nevlugion, I can see both crashes are code-related and are in our database pending resolution. Apologies for the inconvenience - I hope we can address this promptly.

Thank you, looking in to it!

Perhaps something on your PC could be interfering with your bindings or input - I recommend a ‘Selective Startup’:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal, and see if the issue persists

It is a problem, I hear you! You should see a substantial improvement after our next patch.

What’s the question?

Hi @dedalo944,

Sorry to hear that. I can see you’re encountering an Access Violation crash and have a Ryzen 5 CPU, if you haven’t already I recommend lowering your ‘Worker Threads’ count. Please check out:

Hi @Xanoth,

Sorry about this. It appears our backend experienced a rough patch around the time of your post, with a particularly high volume of error spikes. This may have been a contributing factor to the instability. One of our Backend Engineers is investigating.

Hi @Henrich_von_Carstein,

Could you please message me with your Steam profile URL? Thanks!

We’re looking in to it, weird one, worked in testing!

so 2012 is the correct version for Vermintide 1 in order to acquire the DLL in question. Did you install both 64 and 86 versions?

Comment

If you launch the executable directly, it should clarify which DLL is missing exactly and help us point you to the exact installation you’ll need.

Note, it wont launch using the executable, but it will just provide a bit more info.
