I would actually say this is a bug? I’m pretty sure it’s not intended…
There’s a few seconds between everyone entering the portal and the game ending.
If someone starts connecting to the game in those seconds, then there’s nothing you can do anymore. Your bot will get replaced, the match will end as soon as the player properly connects to the game, and this will happen inbetween the bot disappearing and the new player spawning in.
Which means you lost whatever books that book was holding/that player should be holding.
You cannot tell me that is intended behavior.
Yep it would be handy to know more, such as which enemies (for example)

This is mod-related, BossTImer I believe. Please disable this mod until the author has updated it to be compatible with the latest patch.
Some of the most egregious ones were. Since the patch notes are reflective of changes from the 2.0.14 to 2.0.15 they do not list all the changes as a result of the test, since those changes weren’t changes to the live version. When working with deadlines, as you say, we found the feedback and overall experience of the EXP branch to be superior to that of the previous live version, and it makes sense to ship that even if we can’t hammer out all the newer bugs the patch introduces. That said, when it came to issues reported, we picked those that were the most impactful, like explosions being multi...
Read moreHa, yeah, best decision I ever made; but felt it necessary to specify what I was running since my previous potato PC never had this issue.
I’ll ping you next time we’re on at the same time. Thanks!
Been having an issue recently where my Discord overlay only shows up rarely in modded realm, but shows up in live consistently. This doesn’t seem to be the case for everyone. @Nayre hasn’t had an overlay in almost a year, while other modded players (such as @Sleezy) have no problem with it showing up at all (tagging these guys so they can perhaps give more insight to their experiences).

Welcome to Patch 2.0.15. Thank you for taking part in the experimental test this past week. It’s been great to see your feedback on that, as well as the bugs you’ve reported as a result of the test.
The patch focuses on bringing back some of the tightness of the combat loops and engagements you face within Helmgart that you, rightfully, told us was out of whack. This covers areas such as enemy density, strike reliability, sound cues and enemy spawns.
The Experimental Test highlighted some new issues and provided feedback on the end event tuning that was present in the test. As a result of the test, we’ve fixed a bunch of those issues such as explosions triggering multiple times (this impacted bombs, hagbane, Sienna staves etc). The issue of bots dying through the Skittergate has been resolved, as well as other issues reported in the test.
We’ve also removed the “on spawn” audio prompts once more from specials such as the Globadier and Warpfire T...
Read moreIt really sucks that you missed it. The painting is art from Total war: Warhammer 2 featuring Luthor Harkon, it frankly looks dope as hell.
You’re not the only one confused by how it’s presented, however, a ton of people I played with during Geheimnisnacht didn’t even know weekly events existed, much less that that’s what the painting reward was from. Even some of the people that did know the weekly event existed didn’t know that’s where the painting was from.
It feels like something is missing to make the weekly event known to players that weren’t around during A Quiet Drink and checked the events? But at the same time I’m not exactly sure how to advertise that further. Maybe a random daily quest that said ‘complete the weekly event 0/1’ could help raise awareness?
I’m hopeful with this response. As a Sienna main, where staff switching is SUPER painful, especially the higher ping you go, I’m excited to hear this!
Sure, I get that We wont be able to fix all the foibles in 2.0.15, but I do hope this shows that, whilst not always the quickest off the bat, we do take the issues reported seriously, and I’m sure with enough documented evidence of these behaviours (such as your OP here) we will be able to get fixes or adjustments in to future updates.
I’d wager this is an issue in the live game also?
