I believe this is an issue with the UI Improvements mod.

Comment

Sorry to hear this. I’ve popped your report over to our console crew.

Comment

Are you able to upload your most recent console logs? Those attached are quite outdated. Thank you!

Comment

Certainly!

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

You’ll want to look for the log that has the same timestamp as the crash dump you’ve uploaded here. Thank you!

Comment

So it appears your crashes are occurring in a DLL that belongs to the Steam overlay. Could you try disabling the Steam overlay please?

Comment

Thank you for your report. Could you please upload your user_settings.config using the instructions below:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to \AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
  4. Upload the user_settings.config here or send it via PM

I can then pop this over to QA who will be able to attempt to reproduce the issue. Thank you!

Could you upload the console log that corresponds with this particular session please?

The most annoying thing however is that you can only see in chat that someone has found art. No any sound or visual notification, which tomes and grims have

Tomes and Grims impact the party overall, whilst art does not. It’s still possible to use the social wheel to bring to light a found art scrap though.

As for the rest of this thread? Whew.

I’m sorry, this is an error on our part. This quest requires us to patch all the levels once the event is done and since we wanted to avoid another large patch we decided to remove that quest from the console versions and replace it with a simpler one. For some reason the bonfires on Hunger in the Dark somehow snuck in there anyway. I’m sorry we wasted everyones time. The bonfires doesn’t do anything. Maybe we will use them for something down the line now that they’re in the game though. You cn find the current mondstille quests under the event tab in the Okri’s Challenges menu

Perfect. Thank you.

Maybe my brain’s in holiday mode, admittedly I’m confused.

So only the Modded Realm will work in DirectX 11, and not the Official Realm?

In DirectX 12, the Official Realm works? What about the Modded Realm?

Please correct me.

This is odd - I’ll let one of our Engine Developers know.

Comment

Oh no. :frowning: I need to speak with one of our Engine Developers about this, but unfortunately there will be a delay until next week due to the Easter break, apologies.

Comment

I see. I’ll need to query this with one of our Network Engineers, but unfortunately everybody is away until next week due to the Easter weekend.

Yeah basically, the bonfires weren’t intended for the console version, we added a seperate quest instead, but seemingly some bonfires snuck in to Fort B.

Comment

Thank you for your report, we appreciate you putting this together. We’re looking to overhaul this ability in a later update.

Comment

Thank you for reporting, we’ll look in to this. In the mean time I would recommend playing with it disabled to avoid the drop in performance, apologies for the inconvenience.

Comment

Could you try enabling the ‘Small Network Packets’ option within the ‘Network’ panel, and let me know whether there’s any improvement?

Comment

That’s unfortunate. The latest crash report provides us with some more information though, which is helpful. Could you please try:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% into the search input
  3. Navigate to \AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
  4. Right-click ’ user_settings.config ’ and open in Notepad or a similar program
  5. Locate the line that says ’ deadlock_timeout = 15
  6. Change the number 15 to 60
  7. Save your changes
  8. Re-launch Vermintide 2

I’d be keen to know whether this helps. Keep us posted!
