Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Dev Tracker

It’s my understanding that the Crest of the Exceptional Bone Collector was awarded to those who pre-ordered.

I’ve spoken with one of our Console Developers about this and we believe this is more of a local issue. Vermintide 2 operates in protected memory and should never be able to directly crash the console, nor do we have anything to do with the overlaying messaging system. Sorry we can’t be of more help.

Sorry to hear this. To start with, could you please try repairing Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:

I’ll need to check but I’m not sure we were able to get the bonfires in (although it seems Fort B seems to have a bonfire present, which would be unintneded. Last I heard there is an additional quest which offers the second frame.

Unfortunately your GPU appears to be crashing in every instance, please perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the instructions here.

Sorry to hear that @waterdread what a nightmare. Microsoft were confident in their response to us earlier so I’m hopeful that we won’t be waiting much longer, but I completely understand if you’ve ran out of patience by now.

A quick update - Microsoft have responded to say they’ve identified the core issue, and are in the process of addressing it. They’ll let us know when it’s complete, and I’ll be sure to update you all here.

Grab your best weapon and tell your friends that this weekend you earn Double XP on Xbox One . From right now the double XP is activated so jump into the game and take the opportunity to level that other character.

The Double XP Weekend ends at 1 am PDT / 10 am CET on Monday the 15th .

Assuming it still works in the modded realm, it’s more likely to be related to Easy Anti-Cheat. Then again, this Telekom issue has resulted in all kinds of weirdness, so I wouldn’t rule it out completely!

Could you please ensure the Easy Anti-Cheat service isn’t disabled by:

1. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator
2. Enter the command:
   services.msc
3. Locate Easy Anti-Cheat within the list and double-click it
4. Change ‘Startup Type’ to ‘Manual’ if it’s set to anything else

Thank you for the information all. The issue is in the hands of Microsoft’s Engineering Team at current - I’ll be sure to let you all know whenever we receive an update.

I appreciate you all providing your Gamertags, but I don’t believe these are required any more. When the issue is eventually addressed, it will be addressed for everybody experiencing the issue, irrespective of whether or not we have your Gamertags.

1.6.1.2 has gone live, which has no immediate impact on the game but does include:

• Items granted through promotions, or contests, will now be presented in a popup as you start the game.

We’re putting out 1.6.1.1 today. A small but important patch which fixes a crash and a issue with lobbies.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the game.
• Fixes an issue with some lobbies not showing up in the lobby browser.

I believe this is something to do with our anti-cheat provider, Easy Anti-Cheat.

Is it consistently low, or does it only happen during certain events (such as during a horde)?
