Can you recall the error being displayed with the BSOD, and could you share your PC’s specifications with me please?

Thank you for letting us know. Could you share your PC’s specifications with me please?

I’m not able to identify the cause unfortunately, I suspect it’s code-related. I’ve raised this to our database to be looked at.

Sorry about that.

It's right now not "in the books", but I can certainly sit down and have a conversation about it to see if it is possible in the future. I know deeds right now are a big pain point for a lot of players, so I do feel invested in keeping this "in view", as it were (both as a CM and a player of the game).

We’re looking into this. Could you please provide your console log from the session that this happened?

To do so:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload the appropriate console log to us

Thanks in advance!

You can check your task manager to be sure that the launcher isn't eating resources whilst playing. In our testing, it used no more than it did previously, across a variety of machines.

As above, please ensure you launch Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The Closed Test is inactive.

We want to have a better relationship with our community of course. Aqshy and I are working on ways we can do this and it will take time.

As for hoping we talk more about what's coming up, changing course on our current strategy of 'say little and deliver when it's ready' might take longer to move away from, but do understand that we both want to be more transparent about what's in the works, there's just a lot to factor in.

I suspect the crash is unrelated, please copy and paste the crash report produced in here and we can check it out.

Players may be prompted to install a Microsoft Edge WebView2[blogs.windows.com] runtime on launch. This is a simple runtime installation used to provide web-based content in the launcher - it is not spyware, and will not install the Microsoft Edge browser.

For more information, please see Microsoft Edge WebView2 and Microsoft 365 Apps[docs.microsoft.com].

Hi @Eder

It’s not installing Edge, but an edge runtime component. It’s not spyware but a tiny component that helps the launcher render/function appropriately. Without it, you’ll see a simplified version of the launcher without the content.

I suspect that this crash is mod-related.

I can see you are using the following mods:

  • Player List Plus
  • UI Tweaks
  • UI Improvements
  • BossKillTimer
  • Notice Key Pickup
  • Loadout Manager
  • Reroll Improvements

These mods currently have known issues which are likely to result in unstable behaviour and crashes. You can view the status of known issues with mods here:
