This specific matchmaking crash needed a code fix our side. That being said, disabling mods at the moment is likely a good shout, as there’s a few known issues.

Some sort of mod-related issue here, I can’t pin it down.
Have you tried relaunching the Steam client and/or Vermintide 2?

Try repairing the EAC installation!
Easy Anti-Cheat can be installed or repaired using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located in the Vermintide 2 'installers' directory. The path to this directory on your PC will be similar to this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat
I'm having a similar issue, I get a crash and error message when trying to start the game saying:
The program can't start because api-ms-win-downlevel-kernel32-l2-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I've already tried verifying file integrity through steam, guess I'll try a full reinstall. Hoping I'll just have to wait another two hours to play.

Could you install our latest patch and see if the issue persists?
From your log I can see you’re running into a Deadlock crash, which are a little notorious.
I know you’ve tried a few solutions already, but if you still crash after the update, then I’d recommend running through all of the ‘go to’ solutions in this article:
