Oh no… how disappointing. I sincerely thought that was the “cure”. The investigation continues!

Hi @GiantFriendCrab,
Could you please upload your console logs from this session?
Your console logs can be located using the instructions below, and uploaded to a reputable hosting service (e.g. Dropbox) and linked here, or sent to me on Discord - Lev#8708.
Thank you!
Huzzah! thanks for confirming.
I can’t seem to locate your account in our backend, so the connection must be breaking prior to it being able to communicate with our backend.
Are you able to play in ‘Offline’ mode?
This should now be resolved, please try logging in!
@lSkillsl I’ve spoken with a console developer and unfortunately we’re at a bit of a loss with this one. You can access our Xbox endpoint URL which indicates your ISP isn’t blocking the connection. After taking a look at your account in the backend, there are no visible indicators of account corruption or anything out of the ordinary. This leads me to believe it’s a localised issue, which is difficult to diagnose.
You could try uninstalling, and reinstalling the game, just to see if starting with a new install/clean slate has any impact. As it’s a connection issue, I’d think it unlikely though.
Otherwise I can only really recommend that you contact Microsoft Support and request a refund. Humblest apologies that I cannot be of more help with this ...

Unfortunately it sounds like you’ve exhausted all of what we would usually recommend, so in all honesty I’m not sure we can come up with an immediate solution.
The next step would be to reach out to Easy Anti-Cheat directly, as this is an error produced by their service. We can either do this on your behalf, but they usually prefer to speak with the player: Easy Anti-Cheat
Alternatively, providing Vermintide 2 was purchased via Steam, I’m happy to contact them and request that they issue you a refund.
Hotfix 4.1.1
Hi @zamora,
Has this occured for you again on any subsequent plays of this level?
Also, could you please provide your console logs from the associated session?
Your console logs can be located using the instructions below. If you can’t upload your logs directly here, then they can be uploaded to a reputable hosting service (e.g. Dropbox) and linked here, or sent to me on Discord - Lev#8708.
Thank you!
If you’re unable to upload the console log, or host it and link it, could you provide a list of any installed mods you are using (if any) please?
Hi @Swisha,
Could you PM me your Steam profile URL please so I can look into this for you?
Thanks for the report @Harridas. I’ve raised this internally, we’ll investigate!
We are working on bringing the Outcast Engineer to console. The next update is currently going through testing and we hope to bring it to our console players in the near future.
Nice! Out of interest, would you mind sharing your PC’s specifications with me?
Yea that’s way too many headshots. All it’s going to do is have people try and cheese it because it’s too anti-fun to try normally. It’s a fairly accurate gun, but not handgun levels of accurate so that just makes it miserable to do.
Read moreRegrettably not at the moment.
We don’t know if this recent increase of reports is simply coincidental and due to localised issues, or if it could be something else - we’re still investigating.
Two players have been able to resolve it with a BIOS update. We also have a list of potential solutions here: [PC] How to Resolve PC Crashes, Loss of Responsiveness or Blue Screens (BSOD) – Fatshark
Sorry to hear this. We’re looking in to an increase of players reporting that their PC is crashing and are wondering if it has anything to do with the latest Windows update.
If on Windows 10, could you please navigate to ‘Settings’ -> ‘About’ and share with me your ‘OS Build’ number please?
