Hmmm okay. I really do think you should reach out to your ISP about this.

Very odd, we’ll have to look in to this. Apologies.
A couple of people did report experiencing the Sign-In Timeout
error yesterday - both of which were located in Germany - but seemed to pass quite quickly. Otherwise it’s been mostly smooth sailing which indicates to me that your issue is caused by something local.
Did you run through all of the solutions listed here?
I love the idea of meal prepping like that, I wish I had the patience to!
Good luck with the move!
You can pick up packet noodles pretty cheap
Are you certain you’re not accidentally playing on the ‘Modded’ realm? Please be sure you have the ‘Official’ realm selected using the checkboxes above the ‘Play’ button within the launcher.
Simply provide them with the URL and mention that it’s the endpoint to our backend, and you’ve been having issues with your connectivity to it. They may be able to see where it’s all going wrong.
Taking a break from the WoM Beta madness to cook up a mahoosive spicy bean and vegetarian sausage stew. Garlic bread on the side.
What are YOU having for dinner?
I’d recommend that you reach out to your ISP and explain you’re having issues with your connectivity to https://5107.playfabapi.com/, which is essentially the endpoint to our backend.
Could you elaborate on your problem please? Or was this post created in error?
Which ISP are you with?
Please disable it, Easy Anti-Cheat considers it suspicious due to it’s use of an old, exploitable driver.
It’s almost always a local issue, for most people a simple DNS Flush can sort it out. In this case it could be an ISP-related hiccup perhaps, considering you’re both based in Germany - I can’t be sure.
The Connection Timeout
error is often router-related, I’m pleased to hear a simple reboot sorted it out.
Sorry to hear this Nocturne.
I believe I may have already responded to your query via the Steam ‘Bug Reports’ Discussions, but I’ll paste my response in here in case you haven’t already seen it:
We’re attempting to narrow down the causes of the COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST error.
In the mean time, the solutions listed here may help you.
Sorry to hear this Exan - I’ve passed this on to our Console Developers.
Out of interest, what lead you to believe this is specifically Easy Anti-Cheat crashing your PC?
To me it sounds like more of a driver or hardware instability. If Dead By Daylight works as expected, I don’t believe this is related to Easy Anti-Cheat.
Have a look in the Windows Event Viewer (under ‘Windows Logs’ > ‘System’) to see if there’s any useful information regarding your PC crashes.
