This is a known issue and should be resolved now. The item should be in your inventory still, however.

I assume you mean for Darktide, so I’ll nudge this to the correct category.

Private mode is on the way for Darktide, as mentioned in our announcement. Private mode already exists for v2.

So adding Psykers to V2 would be absolutely heretical, but I will move this suggestion to the Darktide forum.

Could you please PM me the Windows “Minidump” associated with this session? Which I can then pass on to our contacts at Easy Anti-Cheat. The Minidump directory can be located here: C:\Windows\Minidump

These issues usually resolve on their own, have they reappeared since?

We are working on this. You may be able to work around it by removing your Darktide AppData, and whilst disabling the Steam Cloud to ensure it doesn’t automatically recreate the AppData.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire Darktide directory

Hi @fonta,

The log shows you’re still running into a GPU-related crash unfortunately.

I recommend trying our other solutions in the article above if the issue persists.

Thank you for your report! You say you only notice this issue with the Carapace Armour damage, not with other armour types?

Hi @Zero3009_YT,

Please can you provide a crash report or console log from a session that this happens?

Hi @Jabberwockie,

Sorry to hear this.

The usual suggestion for this would be to check your .NET Framework installation, and repair it - though I can see that you’ve already tried this.

Another reason this may occur, is that Anti-Virus software may be tampering with the launcher binaries/dependencies. Can you please try disabling any Anti-Virus software and see if this allows the setup to complete and game to launch?

Let me know how it goes!

Hi @fonta,

It appears you’re running into a GPU-related crash.

I’ve noticed your GPU drivers are slightly outdated, so I recommend to first start by updating your drivers. You can also find other potential solutions here:
