78 years ago, what became the T18E2 first appeared. Built by the US to supply Britain, the E2 was the production version of the T18 heavy armored car. Named "Boarhound", the vehicle saw very little combat though some were used for base defense, convoys, and support.

67 years ago, the prototype of the Hunter F.6 first flew. The F.6 was a late fighter variant of the Hawker Hunter aircraft family featuring a better engine and redesigned wings. In the 1970's, it was used as a testbed for the Short Range Air-to-Air Missile (SRAAM) system.

In January 1960, exactly 61 years ago, Object 120 "Taran" appeared for the first time. It featured a 152 mm M-69 cannon of almost 11 meters length. When it was made, this cannon was the most powerful and the longest in the world - with a maximum range of about 3,500 meters.

In January, 78 years ago, the first production of the Fw 190 A-5 appeared. The A-5 had an enlarged forward section of the fuselage which significantly improved the fighter's responsiveness. Various conversion kits were also developed for the A-5 making it highly versatile.

In January 1945, 76 years ago, the Yakovlev Yak-3T made its first flight. This Yak-3 variant featured a 37 mm cannon and 2 x 20 mm cannons, with engine changes too. However, due to the 37 mm gun, engine problems occurred and only 1 prototype was built.

@trojan11521 It lower the rendering latency time - the time between an action, and that action being actually visible on your screen. It's mostly useful for fast action for competitive players and those who aim for maximum game reactivity.
