83 years ago, the first pre-production M.S.406 had its maiden flight. It was France's most numerous fighter and 2nd most built aircraft of WWII. About 250 were destroyed in combat but not without gaining 191 confirmed and at least 83 probable victories of its own.
Reminder: you can move destroyed tanks 😁
In February 1944, 77 years ago, the Cromwell Mk V first appeared. Successor to the Crusader tanks, the Cromwell Mk V was built to the "Final Specification", featuring an all wielded construction and a 75 mm gun. Combat is seen during The Battle of Normandy in July 1944.
In 1962, 59 years ago, the Object 906 appeared for the first time. The Object 906 was to be the successor of the PT-76; featuring newer technology, a better engine, and an 85 mm cannon. The 906 was not adopted in the end, but had it been, it would've been designated PT-85.
In today's update, the planned BR changes are going live, along with a couple of bug fixes. 👉
75 years ago this month, the Jagdpanther roared to life. Its first action near St. Martin de Bois would see 3 tanks tear through 11 British Churchills before having to abandon them to track damage and beginning a legacy as one of the most iconic tank destroyers ever constructed.
43 years ago, the T-80B made its first appearance. The T-80 was the first MBT in the world to be powered by a turbine engine. Compared to the original model, the B variant offered many upgrades; but its defining characteristic was the ability to fire ATGMs from its main gun.

In January, 77 years ago, the Ki-61-I Tei first flew. This variant of the Ki-61 used the native Ho-5 cannon rather than the previous German MG 151 as continued supply via submarine could not be guaranteed. Several changes were also made for ease of maintenance and dependability.

59 years ago, the first F-4C Phantom IIs were delivered to the US Air Force. The Phantom became a legend for its service in the US campaign in Vietnam. With over 51,000 units built, the plane saw service around the globe and continues to do so even to this day.
We updated the planned BR document, and added clarifications for some of the vehicles. Make sure to have a look! 👉
@WT06M199X We're working on it! Pretty soon.
