Tactical trees to the rescue!
@ClydeThaMonkey Yes. My single braincell finally died. Well, imagine this but with better vertical abilities and a tracking radar you should disable anyway, and you got the FlaRakPz 1
In 1977, 46 years ago, the first prototype of the FlaRakPz 1 was built. The vehicle was a combination of the Marder IFV with the French-German Roland missile air defense turret. A total of 140 were produced for Germany with 4 more produced for export to Brazil.
The Spitfire F Mk 24 first flew in 1946, 77 years ago. The Mk 24 was the last land-based variant of the illustrious Spitfire. In 1952, the last RAF Spitfires were given to Hong Kong, ending a legacy of over 25 years of one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history.

We just updated the War Thunder CDK - a set of tools for user content creation. 👉
The StuG III F first appeared 81 years ago. It had a long-barreled 75 mm cannon that drastically increased the vehicle's anti-tank capabilities. This was the first StuG to see large-scale production and was more akin to a tank destroyer than its assault gun origins.
We just released a patch! - Floating decorations - Cursor bug with multiple monitors - Better torpedo sights - Sound improvement 👉
In 1942, 81 years ago, the Re.2001 CN flew for the first time. The CN was the night fighter/bomber fighter variant of the Re.2001 series. Jack Rae, New Zealand's best Spitfire pilot, stated the Re.2001 was a dangerous opponent and found it difficult to line up good shots.
A new "pages of history" is going live in War Thunder, with trophies and a unique in-game player icon.
