Feedback is taken into account just the same here. This patch was built around a lot of things people had been requesting for quite some time and there have actually been quite a few changes since the dev server based around that feedback that was presented during them as well as the bug reported within them also being fixed.

Comment

It has no impact on progression at all outside of what the Warbonds store currently offers anyone anyway.

Again, it has no impact or relevance to the regular seasonal events. Its entirely separate.

Comment

No need to unless you really want something. Warbonds will still be relevant.

Comment

Premium account offers other bonuses beyond just RP boosts. On top of this, we also have boosters which are already given out as rewards for daily logins and events, that dont require a premium account at all and can be used by anyone. The two are separate and distinct things.

Comment

You are comparing battle passes that reward short term XP boosts to a premium account subscription in War Thunder.

There is no Battle pass that includes a premium account subscription.

Comment

We have not made an announcement yet and have not introduced anything at all.

Battle passes offering short term / one time use XP boosts and fast track items is not the same as premium account subscriptions.

Its not coming today. Its the weekend.

Comment

Code has to be added as the patch is build up and so our internal testers can test on all circuits.

Of course people will find things, the difference being, most people are more than aware that its best to wait for offical announcements before jumping to conclusions.

Comment

The games your referring to in that case are also paid games like Call of Duty that have up front payments or other monetary charges. Some games have just battle passes, others premium accounts. There is no game that has both in one subscription and if there is, it would be considerably more more expensive than ours is.

Comment

No free to play game includes a paid battle pass with its premium account subscription (unless im mistaken).

If you pay for premium time, nothing is subtracted from the benefits and bonuses that offers you and will continue to offer you. Whats being introduced is entirely new, separate and nothing to do with premium time at all. So the connection you are trying to make does not exist.

Nothing has been introduced at all on the live server and nothing has even been announced yet.

Right now people are jumping to conclusions based on lines of code alone. So no, we are not reworking anything at all for the time being.

Wait for an official announcement.

Comment

You dont have to subscribe to anything at all here.

As I said before, this is taking away nothing at all from the game, gameplay, existing events, existing features or anything from a free aspect.

What people often dont understand is, F2P games cannot just add some premiums + prem time and then call it done and add nothing new from a premium content perspective. More has to be added over time as any free-to-play game does. Thats precisely what funds major and minor updates as well as all the vehicles, content and everything else.

Comment

There will be free elements and there will also be elements in the paid battle pass.

After all we are a free-to-play game with over 1500+ vehicles accessible for free.

The bottom line is, there has to be paid content, but there will always be an overwhelming majority of free content in this game. Other wise it stops being a free-to-play game and doesn't exist at all.

Comment

Different game, different situation, different content. Is the framework similar? Yes. Is the whole thing largely the same? Absolutely not.

Comment

We have not pushed the patch back at all. No idea where that came from.

Comment

It seems you dont play or have any experience with any other free-to-play MMOs. You are comparing paid or singular release games to progressive live service games that are just constantly evolving.

Its planned to be published soon when its intended and we are not going to fastrack or rush it because a few people read an incomplete datamine and are jumping to conclusions. Its exactly why we tell people not to read too much into data mines and how they cant be relied on for the full picture.

Comment

Games dont have betas for each and every content patch they have.

Comment

1) Most developers dont have dev servers like we do. Those that do, generally have smaller content patches with less things overall.

2) Nobody is denying a Battle Pass is coming. The fact of the matter of it is, no details whatsoever are known properly yet, and people are simply reacting to those two words alone with no facts at all.

3) Some people will be mad at whatever we do regardless of weather or not they see the facts and full details or not. Right now absolutely nothing official about the context, details and terms of this have been announced. Battle passes are actually hugely successful in most games just an FYI.

Comment

Im not really sure where you get this "incomplete existence" from. We are not taking anything away here. We are adding this system in on top of all of the other events, prizes and specials we already have. We are not deducting something and then trying to ask people to pay to get it back. This is new additional feature on top of everything else which has a multitude of free content without the need to purcahse anything if you dont want too.

It does not detract from your gameplay experience if you don't purcahse it, it does not ruin your game if you dont take part at all.

Its all entirely additional content with tons of free parts too.

What we can see in this thread is exactly the reason we tell people not to take datamines as final, finished or as fact. People are jumping to conclusions based off mined lines of code and hypothesis. Nothing more.

Warbonds will still exist, but the system overall is changing. Official news will come soon.

Comment

We dont dev server any events of any kind. Internal testing is more than enough to ensure the interface works.

Its hardly a game changing matter that needs mass testing of an interface development.
