The Creation Catalyst will become available to players after scheduled maintenance the week of April 12. To access it, you will travel to the far south area of Zereth Mortis that is the Catalyst Gardens. The Creation Catalyst is on a floating island above the main pool area and can be reached via flying or using a small teleporter right below it.

At a base level, how it works is you input a piece of Season 3 gear and a corresponding tier set piece will be made with a matching item level. The useable items can be Season 3 g...

In order to address an issue where some Shadowlands commodities weren’t properly sorting ahead of other items in the Reagent Bank, we changed the item level of those items. This had the unexpected result of making existing player Auction House favorites entries for those items invalid. We’re going to work on making the favorites system more resilient in the future, but in the meantime, players can re-favorite these items and it should fix the issue.

ITEMS AND REWARDS

• Broker Mark of Distinction now increases the Renown of your currently active Covenant to 60 (was 40).
• Renown catch-up is accelerated through Renown 60 (was 48).
• These activities will now have a 100% chance to reward 1 Renown upon completion:
  • Mythic and Mythic+ dungeons
  • Torghast Layers 9-16
  • Defeating a Shadowlands raid boss encounter
  • Winning a Rated Battleground

We do feel it is important that players returning to the game after a lengthy break, or players that switch to a new character, are able to participate in relevant activities in a reasonable amount of time. This did become more challenging as the expansion progressed so The Broker Mark of Distinction was introduced to jump players to Renown 40. This provided a catch-up for Renown without supplementing a character’s progression, similar to gear rewards from quests in new zones.

As we continued to monitor discussions, we’ve seen how one of the most important steps to reach is Renown 60 as that is when all traits are unlocked for all three Soulbinds (from there it is mainly the enhancements that are unlocked). We feel that being able to more easily reach that level of Renown will create a balance between contributing to the most current content and having room for growth on an individual character.     • [With realm restarts] (4) Set Bonus: Architect’s Aligner damage and healing reduced by 35%.
      • Developers’ note: The performance of Architect’s Aligner has become an outlier amongst other tank tier set bonuses in both single- and multi-target situations. Due to this, with weekly maintenance we will be adjusting Architect’s Aligner to bring its performance closer to other bonuses. Thank you for the feedback and we will continue to watch the ongoing discussions across the community.
