Hello everyone! Here are the hotfixes that went live in WoW Classic Era and Season of Mastery today:

FEBRUARY 11, 2022

Season of Mastery

• Blackwing Lair
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the portcullis at the entrance of Blackwing Lair from closing and opening properly when bosses enter and leave combat.
    • Developers’ note: It’s possible that players may still experience this, and if the gate is currently stuck closed for you, it should clear up if all members of your raid group leave the instance for at least 30 minutes.

WoW Classic Era and Season of Mastery

• Warlock
  • Fixed an issue with the “What Is Love?” questline.

WoW Classic Era and Season of Mastery

• Fixed an issue where Orc Warlocks were unable to speak to Magar during the “Love Hurts” quest.

The PTR has been updated with the following change to Frost Mage:

CLASSES

• Mage
  • Frost
    • Reverted the recent change that added an internal cooldown to the Icy Propulsion conduit.
    • Frozen Orb damage reduced by 12% (was 8%).
    • Blizzard damage reduced by 12% (was 5%) and reduces the cooldown of Frozen Orb by 0.25 seconds each time Blizzard deals damage (was 0.5 seconds).
      • Developers’ note: After further consideration we will be reverting the Icy Propulsion internal cooldown (ICD) change and instead further reduce the damage of Frozen Orb and Blizzard. Our goal with the initial change to the internal cooldown was to help curb some of the power it’s gained over the expansion from other bonuses and changes such as the uncapping of Frozen Orb, the upcoming tier set bonus, and ilvl increase of the conduit itself. As you can see, we’re currently adding a large new wave of players to the WoW Community Council. You can expect to see many more of them introduce themselves and get started posting here over the next few days.

We’ve really enjoyed our time so far with the inaugural Council Members, and this new series of invites is intended to fulfill one of our original goals: ensure that the Council includes numerous players who represent all of the different playstyles and perspectives of our diverse community.

• A character cannot move if the character:
  • is a guild leader.
  • has active auction listings or bids.
  • has mail.
• You may be required to change your character’s name once you’ve reached the destination realm.
• You cannot move a character to a PvP realm where you already have...

The end of Shadowlands Season 2 is around the corner, here’s what to expect:

Shadowlands Season 2: PvP

• The current season of Shadowlands PvP content will end at 10:00 p.m. the night before maintenance in each region (February 21 at 10:00 p.m. PST for North America realms / 22 February at 22:00 CET for European realms).
• With the season’s end, it will no longer be possible to earn PvP seasonal rewards, titles, or Shadowlands Season 2 rankings.

Shadowlands Season 2: Mythic+

• The current season of Mythic+ content will end with the start of regional maintenance on February 22. With the season’s end, ratings that qualify for the 0.1% “Tormented Hero” title and achievement will be recorded.
• “Tormented Hero” will be rewarded during the following weeks after the season ends, so be sure not to change factions until after you have received the title.
