With a hotfix that will go live to all realms soon, Inspector Snip Snagglebolt and Detective Snap Snagglebolt will begin offering free Shadowfang Keep teleports to Alliance and Horde players respectively.
Each week we’ll look ahead to what’s in store for World of Warcraft, share the latest news, and keep you in the know byte by byte. Hearthstone looks ahead toward celebrating 10 Years in the Tavern and WoW Hardcore launches Self-Found Mode on February 29.

Players can also seek out special “Hearthstone” matches in capital cities from March 11 to March 18. Stick around long enough and you’ll face a special encounter where you can defeat iconic minions to add to your deck and ea...
The new Bloodless buff you get after rezzing does not prevent you from gaining stacks. It prevents you from giving hostile enemies stacks for 1 minute.
We’re working on another hotfix that will change Bloodless from a buff to a debuff, so you can see it on a hostile target and know that you won’t gain anything from them.
You aren’t forced to run back to your corpse to rez. You can rez instantly and for free at any spirit healer, and there are also chained spirits all over the zone. So you can die, then corpse run to another chain spirit and rez for free, with no rez sickness.
Support Your Local Artisans now requires donations totaling 50,000 gold (was 70,000) to the Artisan’s Consortium.

Season of Discovery Phase 2 has arrived. Adventurers can level from 25 to 40, earn up to 31 additional talent points, take on the challenge of Gnomeregan as a new raid dungeon, discover new runes and abilities, and more!
Enter the Gnomeregan Raid Dungeon
Gnomeregan is a 10-player raid dungeon consisting of six bosses–which includes one additional new boss. Each of the previous five bosses have been redesigned to present new challenges within the raid dungeon. This dungeon will also introduce a new world buff.
For the start of the new phase, there are two lockouts on the normal weekly lockout timer. The first reset will occur on February 13 with the second occurring on February 20 during regularly scheduled maintenance.
The War Within expansion introduces Hero Talents as a new update to World of Warcraft classes. They are an evergreen form of character progression for each class specialization that introduces new powers and class fantasies. Feedback is critical to us as a part of creating an impactful and fun addition to the game, so we are sharing our goals for Hero Talents with the community to get first impressions of them and learn how well we’re meeting those goals.

As part of our change to Waylaid Supplies to make them no longer Unique, you can no longer hand in partially filled crates, and you’ll need to vendor those. At this time, the tooltip still says they can be turned in unfilled. We will deploy a hotfix for the tooltip as soon as possible.
2024 is underway and it’s a big year for World of Warcraft as the game reaches a milestone 20-year anniversary!
To think that 20 years ago Facebook launched, MySpace was cool, and many of us were playing on a Nintendo DS and a Playstation Portable. Friends aired its final episode and Lost delivered its first. And that same year friends, family, and coworkers started playing a game called World of Warcraft!
It fills my heart that Azeroth has become home to so many different types of people and players around the globe who have shared memorable moments these past two decades. *hugs* As Morpheus cried in Matrix Reloaded (2003, but anyway) “WE are STILL here!” I’m glad I chose this rabbit hole and have never regretted how deep it goes. WoW is my wonderland – all day, every day.

As we work through today’s Classic Era maintenance, we’re currently tracking two notable issues.
First, we discovered an issue with the operation to purge mail that we described here. We’ve decided to not do that, and instead, we’re going to suspend the XP gain from turning in Marks of Honor at level 25 (in addition to removing the overflow mail from Marks of Honor). We suggest you spend your Marks before reaching 20 of them.
We also have an issue affecting interface addons. Some addons are producing errors or not functioning as they did before. We currently expect to go live with this issue, and we’ll then fix it as soon as possible.
