We plan to implement the following adjustment to Mythic+ dungeons with scheduled weekly maintenance on Tuesday, August 22.

M+ Dungeons

  • Above keystone level 20, each additional keystone level will now increase enemy health and damage by 8% (was 10%).

We’ve recently made and are currently making a number of adjustments to specs that were particularly powerful in Mythic+, and while we feel these changes will have the desired effect, we’ve also heard concerns that it may now be much more diff...

Everything Starts with a Dream

Each week one of the four original zones in the Dragon Isles—The Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, and The Azure Span—will be affected by a Dreamsurge. Every 30 minutes, a major Waking Dream portal will open in the affected zone as a group event. While active, that zone will be granted ...

Without getting into too much detail (hopefully),

We looked up the logs for this, and the issue wasn’t a bug with the item. One of the players in the raid got caught with a 252 item on when a boss encounter began.

It was their boots.

When we update Classic Era to version 1.14.4 with scheduled maintenance on August 22, the new Honor and ranking system will be implemented. When realms go live on the new patch, PvP will resume as planned. When you log into Classic Era after the update, you will retain:

  • Most** of your lifetime kills.
  • Your lifetime highest rank.
  • Your current** Honor rank.

**Please note that PvP activities the week preceding the patch will not be counted. All Classic Era PvP calculations done during maintenance on August 15 will be the last for the old system, with the exception of weekly decay, which will still be accounted for on August 22. For example, if you were 90% into Rank 12 on August 15, there’s a high chance you will not be 90% into Rank 12 when you log in on August 22. You may have decayed down to 0% of rank 12 (or close to it).

For more information on how Classic Era PvP works, before and after this update, ...

Classic Hardcore realms are an exciting way to challenge yourself and your class knowledge. Can you make it to level 60 without dying? And if so, how much further can you go?

It Ain't Over 'Til it's Over

Not every hero will reach the finish line on their first attempt—or maybe even their second. For those who have fallen along the way, there’s a choice to be made on how to handle their newfound permanent death status.

A new feature of Hardcore realms is a Duel to the Death. As one may expect, death in a Duel to the Death is permanent, just like any other death on Hardcore realms.

Linger On

If you have unfinished business in the Hardcore realm, you may continue to exist in the game world as a ghost. This will allow you to communicate with your in-ga...
