Dungeons and Raids

• Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
  • The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn’s health reduced by an additional 10% on Mythic difficulty, to a total 25% health reduction.

Quests

• Big Slick in the City should now no longer anger the local wildlife during “Snail Mail.”
• The speed up bonus now lasts twice as long during “Snail Mail.”

We reduced Mythic Zskarn’s health by an additional 10%, to a total 25% health reduction.

Dungeons and Raids

• Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
  • Fixed an issue allowing players who had completed Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible: Echoes of the Earth-Warder on any difficulty to access later encounters on higher difficulties.
  • The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn
    • Developers’ note: The Zskarn changes address an emerging tactic that trivializes certain aspects of the encounter. We hope these changes will encourage more interaction with the encounter’s existing mechanics, while maintaining its prior level of difficulty. These changes will be live 5/26.

Today, members of the WoW Community Council met with Classic devs to talk about the development of current content in Wrath Classic, as both a retrospective on Ulduar and a look forward to the Call of the Crusade.

We will be addressing an emerging tactic that trivializes certain aspects of the Vigilant Steward, Zskarn encounter. We’re planning on implementing these changes live tomorrow, May 26.

We hope that these changes will encourage more interaction with the encounter’s existing mechanics, while maintaining its prior level of difficulty.

    • The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn health reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
    • Dragonfire Golem health reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.

With how close we are to the start of the season, we do not want to have these feel required for those still progressing or competing in the top tier content. They will be disabled in instanced content throughout the game.

Just a quick callout on two of the items available during this event. The Tyrael’s Charger mount and the Horadric Haversack 36-slot bag each have a significantly higher chance of dropping on the first Treasure Goblin kill of the day on any character on an account. Subsequent kills or kills on alts have reduced chances for these items. All other items have the same drop rate for each kill.

It is just the appearance, but great for anyone who loves collecting all the shirts. Now you can have a purple one too.
